Jill's POV

I had no idea what was wrong with Chad. he told me to wait in the car while he went to order the coffee. I felt like he was scared to touch me since I mentioned going to the river. Maybe he didn't really like me. Maybe he just put an act on at school trying to protect me because I am also a werewolf. I was feeling so confused and so deep in thought that I didn't even notice when Chad came back with the coffee.

"Penny, for your thoughts?"

"Huh?" I looked at him blankly

"You were so deep in thought. I thought you might want to share the problem you seem to be trying to work out. "

I blushed and looked down at my hands in my lap "Nothing it's OK. If you don't want to go to the river that's fine. Just drop me back at school, and I will just hang around until Megan and Victoria finish. "

"No," shouted Chad, then cleared his throat. "I mean no, I am looking forward to having some alone time with you. He smiled at me as he took my hand as he drove us towards the river.

I smiled to myself while looking out the passenger window. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe he does like me.

As soon as we arrived at the river, Chad jumped over the bonnet so he could rush to open the car door for me.

"My lady," He bowed at me as I climbed out of the car

"Well, that's something I have never been called before." I laughed

"Well, I would like to consider you, my lady." He quickly closed the car door and took my hand

"I would like that." I smiled up at him, then led him over to a tree for us to sit under

"I was not sure if you liked me. I was been all big and macho telling everyone you were my girlfriend, and I never even asked how you felt"

I was in shock. How could I not like him. He was perfect. "Why on earth would I not like you? Do you not own a mirror?"

Chad started laughing. "So you like the way I look?"

"I am not blind, You are the most attractive guy I have ever seen. I honestly have no idea why you are interested in me."

"Do you not own a mirror?" He repeated back to me

I laughed at him. "I am a girl it's law to have at least one mirror. I also live with a house full of witches and mirrors are" I did not get to finish as he lips were on mine. He started slow and gentle, parting my lips with his tongue. As soon as I let my tongue play with his, the kisses got more hungry. He slowly laid me on my back while never slowing the kisses. Soon, he was on top of me, and his hand was making its way under my top. I knew I should stop. I have never even kissed a guy like this before. But I felt like I was in a trance. Instead of pushing him away, my fingers dug into his hair and pulled him closer. I heard him groan. His hand was almost to my bra when I felt his errection against my thigh. That broke my trance, and I panicked and pushed him away.

"Am sorry, this is too fast, I had not even kissed anyone before you. I can't go there, not yet. " I put my head in my hands, feeling humiliated. Was this the only reason he wanted to be alone with me? because he thought of would put out.

Chad's POV

Shit I had upset her. I never meant for it to go that far. I had just had the urge to kiss her. As soon as she started to kiss me back, I was undone. All rational thoughts went out of my head, and my body just responded. I looked at her with her head in her hands, and it broke my heart. I pulled her into my arms and kissed the top of her head.

"I am so sorry. I was only supposed to kiss you, but then when you kissed me back, I lost control. Please don't hate me. I would never try to rush you. I am more than happy to hold hands, get a kiss or too and call you mine."

She looked up at me, and I could see she was close to tears.

"I thought this was what you had planned. To get into my knickers, then brag to your boys. " A lone tear slid down her cheek. I wiped it away with my thumb and lifted her chin so that she had to look at me.

"What have I don't to make you think that?"

"Nothing, it's just what I noticed guys our age like to do."

"Well, not this guy. I don't just want your body to use and discard. I want all of you to keep by my side. " I wanted to add on forever but knew that when she turned 17, she would find her mate, and that mate might not be me.

"Really?"

"Truely, you are way more to be than a fling." I smiled at her, hoping with all my heart she was my mate.

Jill's POV

He liked me. I was so excited. I wanted to kiss him again, but I was too scared in case we started to go too far. I had heard some girls call others cock teases and I did not want Chad to think of me like that so instead I snuggled up closed to him and wrapped my arm in his. I squeeled as Chad lifted me up and placed me in his lap. My back leaned back against him.

"I like it when you are close." He mumbled into my ear and wrapped his arms tightly around my waist. "Do I need to take you back to school so that you can meet your friends, or can I keep you all to myself?

"Don't you need to go back? How will James and Steve get back?"

"They could go in Victoria's car, I guess we could go meet up with them. I just really like hanging out with you. Is that corny?"

" A wee bit," I laughed. I had to admit that I loved every minute I spent with him. "What do you and the boys have planned for this evening?"

"I was hoping that we might be able to persuade some beautiful girls to hang out with us"

"Who are these beautiful girls you speak off? Do I need to rip out someone's throat?" I tried to act mad, but I could not stop the smile from appearing. I turned myself around so that I was facing him. "I know I would love to hang out with you. I am sure Megan and Victoria feel the same way. " I was about to move off his lap and stand up when he pulled me back towards him to kiss me again. Since I was already on his lap, he did not need to lay be down, so the kiss did not get too heavy. My hand curled in his hair, and his went and squeezed my butt. By the time we pulled apart, we were both breathless.

"I might be able to behave a bit better if we are not alone. I seem to be struggling to keep my hands and lips off you. "

I blushed as I climbed off his lap and stood up.

"Where would you like to meet the others? I will flick a test to Megan and let her know"

"No need. I have already mind linked the boys. They will fill the girls in. " He grabbed my hand and led me towards the car.

Chad's POV

'You boys keen to hang with the girls tonight' I sent to the boys. I got an instant reply

'Hell yes from me, I have a wee witch to impress' Replied and excited James

'Sure I would like to get to know Victoria better, she is very smart. I enjoy conversing with her'

'Steve my man we need to loosen you up' James laughed

'Some of us prefer the more mental connection to a partner, not just the physical' retorted Steve

'Cut it out you too. Get Victoria to get the girls some swimwear and give her directions to our place'

'God damn Megan will rock a bikini,' Sighed James

I had just ended the mind link when Jill mentioned texting the girls. God, I am so glad Wolf's don't need to rely on technology. I hate phones. I only created a social media page so I could ease Jill in to talking to me. I was worried I might freak her out if I just started talking into her mind.

"No need. I already mind linked the boys." I grabbed her hand and started to walk towards the car, but she stopped.

"Can we mind link like that?"

"Yes."

"I thought we could only do it while close and in wolf form,"

"No, all you need to do is think of me and send me your thoughts. It can be hard at first as you might send me thoughts you don't want to"

Jill blushed and carried on walking to the car

'You are so adorable when you blush.' I sent

She stopped and looked at me. 'That's because you make me feel things I have never felt before' she sent back. The thing with mind link for a newbie is that the feelings can get sent with the message. I could feel that she was excited, happy, and scared all at the same time. Holding hands was no longer enough contact for me. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close as we made the rest of the way to the car. I opened the door for her and waited for her to be seated before I closed the door and climbed in the driver's seat.

"Where are we meeting everyone?"

"At the house that the boys and I are renting"

"What about your parents?"

"They are still at the pack territory. It's just me and the boys in the house,"

"Wait, you guys are in a house with no adults?"

"Yes, my father rented the house, and he trusts that we will be responsible."

I glanced over at Jill while I was driving and noticed her biting her bottom lip and looking scared out of her mind.

"Are you OK?"

She looked at me with fear in her eyes. "I am not ready to do more than kiss."

I started laughing, and she scowled at me. "I am not going to push you to have sex with me, Jill. Relax and trust me. I like you a lot, and I am not going to do anything to hurt you. I promise."

She nodded her head and looked out of the window. We lived in a house on the outskirts of town, and since my father was the Alpha, the house he rented for us was a luxury house. I was hoping that the extravagance of it would not put Jill off me. As I pulled into the long driveway, I heard Jill gasp beside me.

"You live in a bloody mansion?"
