“I hear his face was completely ripped off like he had been killed by a bad wolf,” I heard a maiden say as she whispered to her friend down the hallway.

Good thing I had good intuitions being able to hear from afar off.

I moved a little close trying to get the full info on what they were whispering about.

“That's so horrible” the other said.

“I heard he's been missing for months, ever since the night of the attack” they continued.

The minute they said that, I knew who they were referring to exactly.

I paused by the hallway trying to listen to more of what they were saying about the body found in the woods.

On getting close, I realized they had noticed me approaching them and then had to cease with whatever they have been talking about.

“Good day ladies!” I said smiling at them hoping they wouldn’t hold back answers to the questions I had in mind to ask.
