Damon stood staring at me like I had said something so out of the blues.

“Yes!” I said.

I could tell he was confused as to what I meant.

I knew the statement I made earlier was enough to make them stare at me with so much to wonder about why I was suddenly in charge of making decisions for the Alpha.

Which I wasn't anyway.

“I will have the rest communicated as soon as possible,” Damon said, calling off the meeting.

I sat back on my chair staring at the board, knowing fully well that he was definitely going to ask that I wait behind.

“Kathy, a minute please” he said.

I moved over to his end on the table as we both watched the others leave as they murmured to themselves.

“Now!!” he said looking Into my eyes.

“What was it you said about the plan b?” he asked curiously, staring at me.

I stayed silent for a couple of seconds trying to pick a good word to start with concerning what I had in mind.

“The main reason I had thought of it to be wise to come up with one, is becau
