Hundred and Nineteen

The hallway unfortunately, was dark making it hard for me to see going down the stairs.

I fumbled in search for the switch, as all I could feel was the darkness that covered the whole hallway.

The footsteps of whom ever it was chasing after me echoed down the hallway making my heartbeat rise even more.

I shivered at the sound of their shoe hitting the ground as they made heavy steps coming towards me.

In the dark, I struggled in search for a door knob wanting to escape.

Immediately, I found one.

And just as I held on to the second lock in the door, I realized it didn't bulge.

I cursed the damn door in my head, as I had to use more of my strengths in breaking off the locks of the door.

I had a bit of my flesh ripped out from struggling too much with the door.

And with a little click showing that I had successfully opened the door, I pushed harder and fell into the dark room.

I stepped into the dark room in a hurry as I had the shut behind me not minding whatever was right behind
