Hundred and twenty Four

I held on to the rope so tight as I felt so determined in getting them out.

I pulled so hard that I felt my hands becoming a bit sore from my tight grip on the rope.

I pulled and pulled and luckily it opened.

I fell over to the other side, the minute it made a loud sound touching the floor.

I stayed still for a couple of minutes hoping no one would come right out of the hole I had found in attacking me.

I moved closer to the hole after a couple of minutes of the dust had cleared it's way out of my sight.

I took a quick peep down the hole, but then it was completely dark.

“Any…” I stuttered.

“Anyone there?” I asked as I had my eyes down the hole.

Surprisingly, the voice I had heard a while ago stopped.

“Anyone?!!” I called out hoping to get a response this time.

Immediately I stayed silent for a bit waiting for a response.

And just when I did, I finally heard someone crying.

“Who's there?” I asked jumping right into the hole.

The minute I asked, the louder the voice became.
