Chapter Six

KATHY

The guard gave a nod walking out of the house, leaving me all to myself.

I sat back down to the couch wanting to regain myself from all that had just happened.

I had my hand to my head which felt somewhat heavy from what felt disturbing up in my head.

The minute I had my head raised, I met eyes with Kendrick who walked past me heading out of the house as he had an evil smirk on.

I felt so left out and scared watching him stare at me in such a way.

I wiped the little tear welling up by the side of my eyeballs as the scene where I had just gotten rejected by the one man, whom I was meant to be ordained by the moon goddess.

I got up to my feet the moment he was out of sight, as I took a deep breath feeling depressed over the fact that I clearly wasn't wanted.

And to even worsen it all, I was with a child.

I had my hand on my tummy rubbing my palm around the area I felt the baby was meant to grow out from.

I still couldn't believe the Alpha was known to be impotent.

“How true is any of that?”… I thought to myself as I had my hand on my tummy.

After much consideration on whether or not I'm to accept, I thought of it to go over to his chambers to solicit his final words on me leaving or not.

I held onto the railings of the stairway as I moved slowly up the staircase leading to the hallway of his chambers.

I inhaled and exhaled a few more times as I walked down the hallway caressing my tummy as I could now feel a nut down my stomach which sort of made me so uncomfortable.

The minute I got to the door of his chambers, I had my hand up wanting to knock on the door.

And just as I should I gave a soft knock on the door and luckily he responded almost immediately, but sounded so pissed.

I pushed the door open a bit, as I walked in.

“Bryson,” I called out.

“You have to listen to me,” I said.

The moment he heard the sound of my voice by the door, he became even more furious by the mirror where he stood right before I walked in.

“What are you doing here?” he asked aggressively, staring into my eyes.

I fidgeted with the sleeves of my dress the minute I realized how stipud it seemed coming back here.

“I'm telling the truth Bryson” I said moving closer to him hoping he would want to listen this time and think it through.

“The child is yours!!!” I yelled at him.

And for a moment he stayed silent looking away.

“You heard what the doctor said” he finally voiced out after a couple of minutes of him being silent.

“How is that even possible?!!” I asked, yelling at the top of my voice.

“When obviously, the baby I have in me is clearly yours” I said trying to hold back the tears slowly welling up in my eyes.

“I have done exactly what is to be done!!” he shot at me.

“And what's that?” I asked with hurt in my voice as I stared at him.

“Get out!!” he said with his head to the ground.

“I don't want you here ever again!!” he shot at me at the top of his voice.

I felt so scared all of a sudden, watching how aggressive he sounded and looked.

“You are nothing but a cheat!!” 

“And I have nothing to do with a cheat!!” he said walking over to me.

I moved a little to the back, feeling scared of what he had in mind to do.

At this point I felt sad and confused on why any of what was happening was even happening.

I took more steps backwards thinking he probably just wanted to hurt me.

“I do not want you!!” he said.

“And not even the child you are claiming to be mine” he added pointing to my tummy.

“That bastard,” he said with his eyes down at me.

The minute he said all of that, I couldn't hold back the tear that dropped down my cheeks from which I felt so hurt.

I held on to my chest which suddenly felt so heavy from me being rejected by my mate.

“Just in case you are forgetting, I'm going to say it over and over again,” he said.

“I reject you Kathy Louis to be my ordained mate from the moon goddess, and clearly having nothing to do with you or the unborn child you claim is mine!!!!” he shot at me pointing his fingers to my face.

Immediately, I felt a strong pull down my wrist which somewhat felt so painful.

At this point, I knew what had just happened here.

The mating bond has just been destroyed…

I couldn't hold back the tears that rolled down my cheeks, I fell to the ground feeling so hurt.

“Now get out!!” he said pointing to the door.

“Don't make me make you leave!” he added.

I cried out in pain right in front of him feeling so hurt that I couldn't contain myself.

“Please!!” I said with tears in my eyes.

“I have never cheated all my life!!” I said as my voice broke at various points.

“Get out!!!”

“Now!!!” he yelled, holding on to his head like I was making him affected by my words.

“Guards!!” 

“Guards!!” he yelled.

In no time, they were right with us in his chambers.

“Take her out,” he ordered, looking away.

“No!!” I said struggling from the grip of the guards.

“You can’t do this!!” I said.

“You are the father to this…” I yelled just when he had me caught off from completing my statement.

“Don't you dare call that mine Kathy!!!”
