“Good thing I have a solid alibi because those detectives looked ready to cuff me and throw away the key.” Nick scoffed amusingly.
I looked down at my watch.
“We need to be careful now. With Lara’s death and all.”
“Hmm,” I nodded, glancing at my watch again.
“Razor!” Nick banged his fist on the table, “Are you expecting something soon?” Nick barked looking at me. “Did you even hear what I said?” he raised his brow at me.
I did but I just stared at him avoiding looking at my watch again. I know about Lara. I was the one who killed her. I didn’t have time for him. I had better things to do. His father's bidding to be exact. We had a major plan brewing as I was standing here.
