Megan's POV

A week after Bertrand was buried I finally realized that Bertrand was indeed gone. For a week I felt like I was about to die. My husband, who I loved so much, turned out to have really died.

Some time ago the doctor gave me a letter. “Mr. Bertrand gave this to me and I have to give this to you.”

Only now do I want to open this letter because I have lost my enthusiasm for life.

I really love all of you. If you receive this letter it means I have left you all. Sorry, because I didn't want to worry you. I've been sick for the last three months. I refused to undergo treatment because I didn't want to worry you all. I only take painkillers.

Megan, my wife who I love most in the world. I will never be happy if I am not with you. I'll wait for you here, okay? You still have to look after our children. Sorry if I die first and can't accompany you until we grow old
