Chapter seventy

Matthew coaxed me for a long time before I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

While sleeping, I dreamed of a white and beautiful baby girl. That child kept calling her mother while toddling walking but no one answered her. She was alone in a large space, with no one around to take care of her, so she was extremely scared. After taking a few steps, she accidentally tripped, but there was no way to get up on her own.

That child cried very loudly but no one heard her cry, no one besides her comforted her. She panicked and looked around, but her surroundings were all white, with no people, no objects.

She was helpless to call out to her mother, even though she was hoarse, she did not stop but kept hoping that her mother would find her.

Looking at the poor child with no one to rely on, I really wanted to get close to her and comfort her but I couldn't get close to her. I only took one step and that child was automatically pushed away from me with the distance of my footsteps. Me and she al
