"I heard there's going to be a party at the mansion tonight to introduce you to everyone?" Alden said coldly.

He sat cross-legged on the sofa, one hand put on his body, the other hand put on the sofa, he leaned back slightly. His demeanor was so arbitrary, I heard a hint of mockery in his voice. Maybe this time he came home to see me being embarrassed.

"I thought you'd come back tonight." I said while turning back to look at him.
