Chapter 18 The Birthday Girl

Maya’s POV

It had been a few days since I regained consciousness. Not only that, but my recovery ended faster than it should’ve. I wasn’t sure if it was because of whatever herbs or meds the werewolves used on me, but I could’ve sworn I needed to stay in recovery for another few weeks, at least. And yet, according to the doctor who treated me, I turned out to be fit as a fickle. And now?

“Do you see that town over there? That’s my friend’s pack, Preparatory Pack,” Zephyr introduced, pointing to an area the driver was taking us to up ahead.

My eyes widened at the sight of it, as it looked more like a city back home in the human world. “Whoa… I didn’t know there were packs like that,” I breathed out in awe.
