One hundred thirteen

Sally's POV

“It looks better on you than it does on me.” He spoke hoarsely, his eyes never leaving me. But gradually, it fell to the scar on the inside of my forearm. His eyes darkened, but this time with rage.

“Why don't you tell me what happened to you?” His fingers ran over the scars.

I was about to say something but forgot what I was going to say when he placed a hand right between my jaw and neck, closing the space between us, and trying to kiss me again.

Even though I wanted to do it again, I had to stop him. Pushing him away, I left the room without another word.

I admit - yet, deep down - I want this, regardless of what's going on between us, but at the same time I'm afraid of getting hurt again. He did it once, so what's the difference next time?

Slamming the door behind me, I walked further away from the house. My mind was racing so dangerously that I didn't know where I was heading.

“You smell like him,” A voice said next to me, pulling me out of my thoughts.
