One hundred and seventeen

Third person POV

Kicked her with a round kick and she fell backwards. Buried under the soil, not far from where we were struggling, I saw a glittering silver dagger. As I was sprinting, a hand pulled hard on my ankle, causing me to fall face down.

My arm extended toward the dagger as this psychopath climbed onto my back. My fingertips touched the metal before I pushed myself an inch closer to the silver and gripped it tightly in my hand.

She flipped me onto my back, and sat on top of me, her hands around my neck as if preparing to strangle me.

I could feel my lungs being deprived of oxygen and my eyes rolling back, the dagger in my hand slowly began to slide.

“Be strong, Sally.” A warm, soothing voice rang out around me, seemingly only I could hear it.

Ignoring the pain in my throat, I brought the hand holding the dagger to my chest, and with the little strength I had left, I stabbed her straight in the stomach.
