I had been avoiding him like a plague since that night. I busied myself with the salon and almost booked a ticket back to Atlanta out of guilt. I so badly wanted to confess to Simon, he didn't deserve to be betrayed like this but what happened to my sense of reason? Did abstinence affect me so much that I gave myself away to Zach without thinking? I felt so stupid.

"Hannah you're absentminded again. Can you just tell me what's wrong?" She snapped her fingers in front of me.

I flashed her a smile, "It's nothing Mama, I'm fine really."

"Have you spoken to Simon yet?" She asked and my smile dropped.

"No." I said clippedly, busying my hands with arranging my already arranged desk.

"Why?"

"I'm sure the stylist is waiting for you Mama, sessions are booked cause the place is packed. If you want to get your hair done today, you have to get started right away." I reminded her why she was here in the first place.
