“You don’t need to believe what I have told you but, in more ways, than one I think it is what happened. The Alpha will have taken them to the small outside Mansion where the Pack originally started, He kept it as his Home away from Home. And now they left them there, in the hope they Bond and Gemma finds a way to break his loyalty to you. By the sound of things, she has succeeded. Don’t beat yourself up. Faron always gets what he wants, I stopped fighting it a long time ago.” His words are echoing through my mind… Faron always gets what he wants …
The words are burning themselves into my mind as the feeling of treachery is trying to choke the last breath out of me. My head hangs low and heavy are my legs as I try to slowly walk back to the castle.
“Don’t be like this Zara. There is a life after the Mate bond. Look at me, I lost my Mate and I am here still alive. Okay I will be the first to admit that it w
I don’t want to over think this but just for a moment I want to let go. Just enjoying the moment not thinking what will happen or was it meant to be. For once brushing off the pure pressure I constantly feel on my shoulders being the sensible young woman, always having to do the right thing. Running my hands through his hair as he is slightly shaken by the sudden change. Placing his hands on my hips slightly lifting me up as I look down on him and his blue eyes. A smile as I trail his lips with my finger making him shudder. Biting my lower lip as I put all the hesitation in the back of my mind. Just this one kiss, no regrets, no guilt, no strings, right? Before I even think twice our lips are touching. A longing Kiss filled with so many feelings, love, lust, desire even pain. No ordinary Kiss by any means, this is what wet dreams are made off, leaving me wanting more. Panting I make myself stop just to catch a breath. “You can’t imagine h
Being the Good friend that I am, I quickly shake it all off and run back to the Parkour, I want to cheer for Rasmus. Help him feel good, shout his name, okay maybe not as that might put him off like it did with Noel. Wanting to join in with the others, I really wonder why Fighters shouldn’t be able to enter too, I am sure there would be loads of them who would like this too. I noticed how nervous Rasmus is as he shakes out his hands. It is a lot of pressure on him, being the last one to compete against Liam. Miller shouts for them to get ready. “Ready, Set … go!” He shouts as loud as he can while Noel blows the whistle before joining me on the side to cheer. It turns out to be a very heated Race, where both of the contestants are very eager to win. Never even seen Liam get out of breath not even when He was leading the Jog the very first day I joined. Unusual. A very tough Race indeed. Watching them and everyone cheer on the side makes me smile. Such a
“I expected more off you, Noel. Putting your old Pack members at war and risk of death like your beloved Mate. Malloy… hmmm…“ His voice echoes off the walls as Rose once again whispers something in his ear. Liam has stepped next to Noel now, which somewhat tells me something is going to happen. “So that’s why your fighting skills are so exceptional and to think I put my life in your hands, believing the little voices in my head, that my son placed there. You are the Daughter of the Pack, that’s caused such grief to my dear Lady. She even tells me there are two Sons, at the Pack. Judging by your unwillingness to tell me who came to see you, I recon it will have been your brothers, am I right? The Pack who denied her, her true mate before she was exiled. Furthermore… You joined our Pack, pretending to be someone else, this calls for a punishment. Doesn’t it Noel?” His face now changes to an odd smile. Wicked as he plans something evil an
Exhausted I sit there wondering how I might be able to change what is happening. “Right, I won’t sit here and let it happen. We need a plan and that fast. I refuse to let this Monster destroy me and my Family. It ends now. I have let him get away with way too much already, watched as he played with my feelings for Jackson, no more.” I hiss as I get myself back up but it comes at a cost. My back is absolutely in agony, I can barely get up alone. Noel watches me with worry in his eyes. Just then we hear footsteps coming closer and a door opens down the corridor. Our attention shifts and I try to quickly get back on the bed where I was before. Tears running down my face as the pain overwhelms me. “See she is still out of it; I will be okay on my own. You can leave, I will shout you when we are done here.” I hear a familiar voice say in a slightly annoyed tone as the door opens slowly. The Doctor walks in sets down his bag next to the bed , k
“We will get you there. Just don’t stress yourself out so much. It was more important now to get your strength back up than have you run into a fight with wounds as deep as those, when the wolfsbane stopped you from healing. I only finished the serum this morning after working all night on it.” Tim tries to calm me down as he puts his hands on my shoulder. I hear a whisper getting closer. Putting my finger over Tim’s mouth as it gets closer. I stand right next to the door so no one can see how much I have healed already.Tim stands there looking expectant towards the door as a key turns in the lock.Slowly the door opens when a young lad is stood in the door confused staring at Tim and Noel.“Liam has sent me. He told me to give you this.” He holds out his hand slightly shacking. He holds a small key and a scrunched-up note waiting for Tim to take it.Gobsmacked we look at each other, when I carefully walk out behind hi
I keep my eyes peeled on the horizon as I notice how the scenery is changing. The warm colours of the sun slowly taking their leave to the cold blue colours of the moon surrounding us as we are driving down dead roads. Everything is calm before the storm. Just then I notice the smell in the air, fire... “Do you guys smell this?” I ask confused as I stick my head out of the window. “We must be getting close.” Noel remarks as he is focused on the road ahead. Crossing over the border my heart is ready to jump out of my chest , beating faster and louder than it ever has before. I notice how cloudy this night has turned with thick clouds covering the moon at any given chance. “We are getting closer, it’s now not far off.” I hold on to Noel’s arm, who straight pulls over to the side. “Shall we run the last bit to use it as a surprise moment for our advantage? When we get closer, we might be able to check out what’s going on first before attacking.”
My Wolf is now shimmering in all kinds of silver, gone is the deep pure black shine . The moon is fuelling my body and mind with a strength I have never felt before as the light gleams down on me, breaking through the thick clouds. In an instant I am stood next to my Mother. Preventing Faron from hitting her, blocking his paw by letting it crashing into my shoulder. He struggles backwards as it knocked his confidence immensely, he never seen me coming and it has baffled him as to how I made it there in the first place. The confusion is written all over his face. Liam now looks at me with his mouth wide open and Noel and Tim join me standing our ground.“Wolves! You don’t have to live like this! Stop attacking other fellow Wolves who are just like you fighting for pure existence. We could all live next to each other without the constant need of fights or the wish of taking over other Packs!” I extend my mind link to every single pe
A gust of wind is blowing , swaying the tree branches from side to side with a light rustling of the leaves as they swirl around us. I consider my options... If we fight, we will more than likely lose a good few of our fighters… If we attack first, we might be able to surprise them but non the less they have us outnumbered by two for one and right now it’s a battle of will. Jackson watches me closely and even though our bond is broken I can still feel him so very clearly. He feels lost, disappointed, and hurt. “Don’t kill him, I doubt he will do anything to wound any of us.” I answer after a short period of silence. Out of a sudden we can hear an absolute uproar of howls from wolves in the woods. “Here they come, get ready!” Noel warns with a slight tremble in his voice. And just like he had predicted another wave of wolves are heading our way. I take a deep breath while I hear Zain howl alerting our pack of the upcoming
The Kitchen is quiet only a hand full of Maidens who I have seen before are now present. They are sitting at a table with some snacks. Usually, the table had always been full of food, ready for everyone working in and around the castle to take. The chatter stops as I enter the room and all eyes are on me, expectant but with a look of fear.“Hello” I say quietly before walking towards the five Ladies sitting around the table.A young Lady with light brown Hair, petite in size starts to speak as I take a chair to join them.“Many of the Kings slaves have left the Village in fear as soon as the Pack bond broke. There are not many of us left to keep the Kitchen running. We don’t even have a cook to make the meals. We were not sure what to actually do.” Her voice getting smaller towards the end as she looks down on the table.“But you are here. All five of you. If you are willing to work with me, we will prepar

“I want to reshape everything Faron has built, but I need your help. There won’t be the separation anymore between guards and fighters, instead we will have warriors. No two class between them anymore, everyone fighting for the same, the safety for our Pack. We will come out of this stronger than ever. Joseph , I would like you to be leading the training for everyone. The Wall needs to be taken down, if you could over see this.” Looking between Liam and Joseph who is slightly taken a back by my announcement of taking the wall down, I turn my attention purely towards Liam. “Liam, I would like you to be our Beta. I need your insight and knowledge as well as your loyalty. I hope you will agree that you are both an absolute asset to this pack and it would be sad to see either of you two leave.” Expectant I am awaiting eager on a reply from Liam agreeing with me but he stays still. “Yes, my alpha. We will get on the job r
The Castle is the same, it’s me who changed. Our lives are now going to be different, seeing everything through different eyes.Noel opens the car door, holding out his hand for me. Not going to lie but my legs are feeling like jelly as I step out of the Car. Some of the Guards are stood at the entrance welcoming us home, with a nod I recognise his effort. The Hall now certainly seems so much bigger than I could remember it and the sheer weight on my shoulders knowing that all the decisions are on me. The young Girls who Faron used for his amusement are all stood in the Hall in a small puddle, whispering as we enter. All eyes are on us as they are uncertain how to react.A quick look over to Noel, who is stood right behind me, gives me the confidence to speak up.“King Faron is now gone. He won’t be returning so your services are no longer needed. However, if you wish you can still work in the castle, y
I am sorry that I let you all wait to long for the story to continue. I had to write on another story and needed to take some time off due to the summer holidays, so I could spend time with my little girls while they had been off school, but I will return with more updates from November the 1st! I have already started to write a few chapters and am uploading them as we speak ready for daily updates to resume soon. Thank you so much for the continued support, it really means so much to me and my family!
We are the last ones to walk down the long white path. At the end a big Coffin One half of it is opened. They have extra built him a little stage, put drapes around the corners with white and grey organza lovingly draped around it. With big flower stands. I swallow hard. Not wanting to admit that it is his final goodbye. Up until now I managed to shield myself from the enormous pain and kept everything locked away. I don’t even hear what the Speaker is saying, nor when Aaron or Zain get up to speak and when they present their beautiful speeches they have prepared. I barely manage to look up but when I did, I could see Tim, Rasmus, Miller and Liam, staring in my direction. Their faces sad and full of emotions. Everyone is now turning to me and I jump a little as I realise that absolutely everyone’s eyes are on me. I breathe in sharply taking steps towards the Coffin. Seeing him there makes me realise how I have tried to avoid this situation. I didn’t even help to plan
A part of me wants to hold him up. Tell him, it’s okay. You can make wrong decisions and it would still work out. The other Part of me feels that it’s the way to go… We just wasn’t meant to be, maybe if we had met under different circumstances, we would have made it and we could have been happy together. If Faron had never entered his life, If He had grown up somewhere loved with his parents without all the lies… the what if’s take over all my thoughts as I stand there looking into the dark of the Forest. I don’t even notice for how long I was stood there, imagining how different our lives could have been. The strange feeling is still very prominent. When I turn around Noel is stood there looking at me and I am unsure whether I should go to him or walk away. I know its nothing good because he never looked at me like this before. The feeling is laying heavy over us and I am reluctant to accept it. “I didn’t want to do this to you. I know how hard it ha
“Yeah, I agree with Zara, Rose is all down to you Mom. What ever you want to do, we will support you and stand behind you. Fully and no questions asked. Gemma, I am not sure… it’s your Mate’s wife so not certain what you think is reasonable. Again, I help where I can obviously.” Zain looks between me and our Mother. “ Let’s get this straight - Jackson is my Rejected mate, after I talked to him yesterday it became apparent that really, I didn’t want him anymore. There was no feelings left from me, the bond has dissolved fully, He is a free wolf like he always wanted. I have offered him to stay here or if he wants to return to the Castle, he is welcome there too.” I point out as I grab for Noel’s hand who is looking rather confused at me. “Do I understand this right? You are not thinking of going back to the Castle, are you?” He shakes his head in disbelieve. “Yes, my plan is to go back to the Castle and I thought you
We lay there catching our breath for a good few minutes before either of us even thinks about moving and even though I hurt after fights this is just a different kind of ache you find yourself in. Muscles you don’t usually feel are now aching. Especially between my legs. I smile as I stare at the bedroom ceiling when Noel’s head pop’s up next to me and he rests his head on his shoulder stroking over my skin with his other hand. I lean my head to the side to meet his gaze on me. Without words we appreciate each other’s company, absolute silence, and a bit of feeling bliss in the air. “I am sorry I marked you, but it just felt so right in the heat of the moment.” I stutter with embarrassment as my cheeks heat up again. “You won’t hear me complain.” He lightly traces over his mark on his neck with a smile. My Tummy starts to rumble so we decide to get our clothes back on but just as I try to pull my underwear back on, he grabs me from behind kissi
