48| Beyond the Window Pane

In the waves of curiosity, Vicky's boyhood desire appeared at last when his close school fellow Fenton Maxi rang and asked Vicky to pack his luggage as: "You're going to see me shortly."

Fenton Maxi had been in Greece for almost ten years with his family of one boy Adam and wife Cora.

Vicky had harbored enough a deep-seated longing to visit London since his sister denied him permission when he was just fourteen years old. The wish never died out. This unfulfilled desire had taken root in his heart, lingering for years.

Despite his repeated attempts to realize his dream, he faced disappointment every time he mustered the courage to try again, leaving his aspiration perpetually unfulfilled.

Time had its stronghold and Vicky had to strive after the death of his dear father. He couldn't not help to move anywhere else but keep on facing the challenges of life in his own homeland.
