"You know what I'm sick and tired of this fucking child stubbornness, Aunt Christine quarrels. It's like I have to wait on you to do whatever I tell you to, and I'm not going to allow this to keep on happening."

"Honestly, I don't deserve it at all. I wish I'd allow you to be taken away for adoption the day your mom passed away, but no... I had no choice but to. Not to allow others to think of me as a worthless aunt," Aunt Christine continues to curse me from behind.

"But you know what, fuck everyone. I'm so tired of your stubbornness."

"I'm sorry Fred," I hastily apologize to her mate. Hating how she was behaving. As much as I didn't want to apologize to her sorry excuse of a mate. I had no choice but to do so in making her stop, cursing.

"Apology accepted," the bitch had the nerve to respond, while he stares into my eyes with a smile.

Immediately, I turn around, hating to look at his disgusting face.

"Ha!" I screamed out while both hands cover my mouth.

I cry while I lower my head by the excruciating pain.

"Don't ever let this happen again or I promise, you will be sleeping on the road with the homeless next time," Aunt Christine warns me.

I cry harder.

"Get out and go where the heck you were running off to, you piece of shit," Aunt Christine chases me away.

Swiftly, my hand moves away from my lips and immediately opens the front door. As the door closes behind me, I stop and touch my lip to see if it was burst. Checking it with my right hand. I sob seeing the red, thick blood on the tip of two of my fingers and how miserable my life is dwelling within this house.

"Arissa," I heard Chloe at the back, eagerly waiting on me.

Quickly, I wipe away my tears and rush to the side of the house. To the pipe to wash away the blood from my lip. I didn't want her to see me like this. I hated and always felt ashamed whenever she sees me in a horrible condition, caused by my terrible aunt. As I reach the corner of the house. I pause surprisingly, seeing my best friend coming to meet me.

"Arissa," she calls me frighteningly, while her light brown eyes stop at my bloodied mouth.

Quickly, I cover my mouth and went right over to the pipe and turn it on washing away the blood from my mouth.

"Did your aunt do this to you again?" I heard her ask me worried from behind.

"I'm okay," I answer her softly. While I completely wash the blood away from my bottom lip and wipe away the wetness from my face within my thick blue dress.

Slowly, I turn around to face Chloe, and there I saw tears within her eyes.

"What did I tell you about crying for me?" I inquire her.

"I don't want you to waste any tears created by those fools inside."

"I can't help to break down seeing you being hurt over and over again," she answers me.

"It will be over soon when I turn 18 within two weeks," I told her.

She nodded while she gently wipes away her tears

"Let's leave from here, so I can have a little peace," I told her. While I held her by her right hand and went off.

I understand that she was hurt by how badly, I'm treated every day by my aunt and his mate. But, seeing her so sad and bothered by the terrible situation I was in. I loathe that it was affecting her so much. I didn't want her to feel so sad inside like I was.

Chloe is my mom's best friend, Cleo's daughter. We have been friends from the day we could crawl. Our mom has always been together and so we too were always together, playing.

I'm happy that Chloe is within my life, for I don't know if she wasn't within my life. How my life would be, facing all my troubles alone every day, without having her tell me that everything one day will be better soon and that I will be free from my aunt and her creepy boyfriend.

Chloe and I were of the same height. She has a little more weight than me. She has beautiful, short, curly black hair and the cutest dimples when she smiles. She was born a week before me, so her birthday had already passed. She is 18 and too as eager as me to find our one true mate. So, we could be cherished, love, and live happily ever with our other halves.

Whenever Chloe would come to visit me, we would walk to our special secret spot by the pond, sit, talk, and take in cool, fresh air while I try hard to forget who was waiting for me back at the house to torment me.

We both cling beside each other and walk slowly to the pond, away from the tormented house. The pond wasn't too far from my home nor hers. It was just a short walking distance.

"Well, well, if it isn't the two poor, low-life she-wolves, Chloe and the parentless one. A name I just can't seem to remember," Amber and his two friends, Rena and Zoey laughs at us.

"Just continue to hold your head straight and let us walk past those loose she-wolves," Chloe told me. As we walk across the large field before reaching the pond.

Amber is my aunt mate's niece, Fred. She was the same age as my best friend, and I can't stand her. She and her two friends were bullies. They enjoy playing around others they believe they have power over or were better than.

I continue to hold my head straight as my friend had said and continue to walk away from them. It is a waste of time saying anything to those bitches. Who slept around with anyone they had a thing for. I felt so sorry for their mates two weeks from now if they are lucky to find their one true mate under the full moon. Their body is so used by many men that I doubt that their mate will find anything special about them.

"That's right walk away, you stupid wolves!" they shouted behind us.

"Look at the parentless one blue wash-out dress," I heard the bitch Amber laughs. "It's so worn out and looks old as if it is the one her mom hangs herself in and she has to wear it because she has nothing else to cover her hideous body."

Immediately, I stop and move my hand from around Chloe while I made both hands into a fist to hit that bitch within her mouth.

"Ignore her, Arissa," Chloe tries to calm me down. "She wants your attention that's what she wants and we too both know that's not the dress your mom died in."

I didn't listen to Chloe. I turn around and ignore her.

"You have no right to talk about my mom like that!" I shouted at her angrily.

"Or what?" the bitch had the nerve to say to me.

"Don't ever say anything about my mom ever again," I growl at her.

"Well try to stop me from saying anything about your suicidal, crazy-ass, motherfucking mom,"

Hearing what she had said. I charge over to her with my right hand tighten hard into a fist that pains me.

"Arissa no!" Chloe shouts at me to stop.

I wanted to hear nothing from Chloe now. All I wanted to do now was to hit that bitch the hardest I could within her cock sucking mouth.

"Ha....!" her two weak friends runs away, seeing me storming towards their friend quickly.

Amber on the other hand didn't. She stands still with a grave look on her face, preparing to fight back. As I got close to her, she slaps me on my face. My eyes close quickly, by the sharp hit. Immediately I reopen my eyes and fist her within her mouth.

"Haa.," the bitch growls and held her mouth that was now bloody by my fist.

"Please let us leave," I heard Chloe begins to beg me, hating what was happening.

Chloe hates fights, but still, I couldn't let this one pass me by that rotten mouth whore. I had to hit her again.

As Amber drop hard to the ground by my hit. I jump on her and begin to pull her hair. I didn't feel satisfied by that single hit. I had to do more to teach her a lesson.

"Let's run, Arissa," Chloe screams at me. As I felt her begin to pull my dress from behind.

I push her away and started slapping Amber across her face, while she cries like a little pup on the ground.

"Ha..," I suddenly growl in pain, feeling a tight hold against my right hand.

Instantly, I stop slapping Amber across her face, turning my face away from her. My eyes widen shockingly, and I growl in pain, being pull away from her.

"Let her go, Reese, Amber was the one who started it first!" Chloe shouts. Wanting Amber's cousin to let me go.

"Let me go!" I too begin to shout at him. As he pulls me towards him and holds me by both of my arms tightly.

Reese was of the same age as Chloe and Amber, and he was no better than his cousin. A big bully. He is taller than every one of us on the field, stout, and too much stronger.

"Let me go, Reese," I try to fight away from him.

"Let her go," Chloe tries to help while she held onto his right shoulder.

Suddenly, Chloe growls in pain. As the big bully pushes her away from him; allowing her to fall onto her back.

I got so angry and begin to bite myself away from him.

"Ha!" I scream out as he too pushes me down onto my back, hard.

I growl in pain on the hard ground while I glance at Chloe who was still within the same position she was thrown, to see if she was okay and then back at Reese.

"I'm going to give you a good beating for hurting my cousin," Reese told me as he walks to me slowly while he tightens his right hand into a tight fist.

"Break her nose!" Amber shouted angrily. While she sat up with her white blouse and blue pant. All cover in the dirt, made by me.

"Let's run," Chloe got up and come running over to me.

I try to do so as well. I could not dare to compete with Reese he was too strong for me. But he ends up pulling me back to him. Holding me with one hand.

"Please let me go," I beg him.

Again, Chloe tries to help me fight away from him. Once more she ends up being push away.

I scream as I saw Reese raise his right hand with all the strength he had, carrying it to my face.

I close my eyes and I clench my teeth awaiting his hit, for there was nothing I could do to stop him.

I slowly open one of my eyes not feeling the hit. Immediately, I open my next eyes. Widening my eyes shockingly. Seeing why Reese was unable to hit me. A young male stranger, attired within a white t-shirt and blue jeans pants were holding back Reese's hand that suddenly showed up from nowhere. As he did his blue eyes gaze into mine. His eyes were brighter than mine and too the sky. His eyes were beautiful and mesmerizing.

He is the most handsome young male wolf I've seen within Starkville. Who is he? I begin to think, lost within his hypnotizing eyes and his beautiful face.

Why is it the first I'm seeing him within my land? and why is he helping me?
