“Arissa,” Gwen called me. I hurriedly returned to the kitchen. As I did. I saw a plate of food and a glassful of juice placed on the kitchen counter for me.

“Eat before it gets cold,” Gwen told me.

I nodded while I smiled and went over to the kitchen counter. I placed down the tray and began to eat.

Gwen was cleaning the kitchen and preparing to wash the dirty plates and pot as I did. I eat hungrily loving the delicious taste of the steak, mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables. I washed it down with my orange juice.

“Miss Gwen,” I called.

She turned to look at me from the sink.

“Is it okay to leave early to purchase some clothes tomorrow?” I inquired her since I will be working with her every day. “The alpha finds out I’m homeless and gave me some money to buy new clothes.”

“Of course,” Gwen said with a large smile on her face.

I too smiled.

I remained to stare into his eyes while tears slowly flowed down my cheeks. “I took 8 months from your life all from trusting one of my pack fighters,” Alpha Ares said pissed at me. I lower my head sadly. “I will let them pay,” he said angrily. Immediately, my head raised back to his. “They will pay for the 8 months you’ve waisted in jail, for all the time they made me robbed from you.” I couldn’t control myself and so I hugged him, weeping. I felt so relieved Lucas and his dad will suffer as I did. I wasn’t going to beg the alpha to forget what they did to me, they both deserved it. They were heartless towards me; they showed me no mercy. It felt so good being wrapped within the alpha’s arms. I felt so safe that I didn’t want to let him go nor him to let me go. Suddenly our heads slowly raised staring into each other eyes and our lips have begun to get close. Immediately, I stopped myself before we almost kissed. What we were

As I saw who it was, I stood up immediately even though I was now in a lot of awful pain, pain of rejection. The lady did the same. Our alpha was here, alpha Ares along with the dark-haired man who carried me here."Alpha," I called. The long red hair alpha didn't pay me any mind. It's like I wasn't in the cell. He just raised his strong muscular right arm and called the next she-wolf within the cell with me. I stand still within the corner anxiously waiting on him to deal with me soon."You're free to go, I found out the accusation made about you was false, but don't worry they shall pay for false accusation," Alpha Ares told the lady.
