I was through with my bath. I return to the room. I was surprised Chloe was still spying on her neighbour.

"Chloe," I call her as I went to lay down on the bed.

"Sh...," she turns around quickly and shushes me up.

My eyes widen and I stare at her wondering what she has been looking through the window at for so long.

I got up from the bed and slowly went over to her. Soon I found myself peeking through the window along with her.

My eyes went on what she had been staring at for so long. It was Lucas. Lucas was sitting onto his porch in one of the wooden chairs he had repaired. He too appears lost and clueless that we were spying on him. He was staring at the side of his house at nothing.

"I wonder what he's thinking?" I heard Chloe say softly, allowing me to take my eyes of Lucas and at her.

"Something we'll never know," I answer her as I move my eyes back to Lucas.

"Probably he's thinking about his life and being so lone

My eyes met his and I froze instantly. The beauty of his bright blue eyes had so much power over me. There was something about those eyes that couldn't stop me from staring at him. Lucas stared back into my eyes. His iris enlarges capturing every part of me. No! I heard a loud shout in my head. My body was trying to get me away from his hypnotizing eyes. My body won. Immediately, I move my eyes away from his. His hands against my wrist tighten not wanting to let me go. I spin my hand repeatedly trying to free my hand from his. He let go of my hand right away and I step backward slowly while I carried my eyes back to his. I pause with my back turn to the open door and touch my wrist, his handheld tightly. "Did I hurt you?" he asks me softly. I didn't answer him. "I'm sorry," he apologizes. His apology was so sweet that it will be hard for me not to forgive him. "What do you want from me?" I ask him. I needed to know, for I was s

I remain to stare into his mesmerizing blue eyes. I couldn't believe what I have just heard from him. All along I felt bad, hating myself that I have developed feelings for a wolf that was not mine. It had turned me to hate him for no reason at all and allowed me to keep ignoring him, but now I discovered that the strange feeling I had towards him he too was having them."I tried fighting these feelings, knowing that you are not my one true mate, but I can't anymore," Lucas said with great anger within his voice."These feelings I have towards you are so strong that sometimes I think that I'm going to die if I don't see you for a day or if I'm not around you," he again told me but softly. Within his eyes, I could see great sadness and how he too was having a hard time controlling this powerful feeling. I too hear great sadness within his voice. I could hear tears within his voice and pain by the way his voice cracked as he confesses his love for me."Lucas," I c

The side of my head hurts. I have been leaning my head against the bottom of the staircase handrail, resting. My eyes open and slowly I move my head sitting up still. I rub the side of my head getting rid of the uncomfortable feeling. My butt soon started to feel numb from sitting down on the hard step of the stairs without moving. I got up and stood still. The moment with Lucas and I outside was killing me. I need to get over it and remove every single image of him out of my head. I needed to forget the day I first met him and what had happened today. He was giving me a hard time and I need to let him go by forgetting him. I wish I never did run to his house to see if he was okay and not hurt. Lucas was fine and I had wasted my time. I detested I was soft-hearted. I curse myself for not leaving right away the time I found out he was fine, but no..., I foolishly stayed wanting to help him paint his house and look what it leads to in the end. I should have avoided it all befo

He was kissing me. Lucas's lips were canoodling mine softly and passionately. My eyes close returning every one of his kisses with a kiss. I was enjoying it. It felt good. His hands tighten around my waist and his body moves closer to mine as our lips remain to dance simultaneously to our sweet tune. Wherever his lips lead mine, my lips follow his gently. My hand slowly moves away from the doorknob, soon both of my hands were wrapped around his neck."No," I stopped him as I open my eyes and quickly move my lips away from his. I move my hands from around his neck and then his hands around my waist."This is wrong, you should leave now," I told Lucas gravely as I look him in his eyes.I wish I didn't, I froze instantly, and I no longer felt the urge to chase him away nor to run inside. Lucas returns my stare. Slowly he begins to approach me, again getting close to me. The next thing I know my eyes were again closed and our lips were diving into each other again,

Lucas's lips slowly move away from mine. Both of his hands went straight to my face, holding each side of my face. His thumbs spread across my cheeks as we stared into each other eyes, standing very close. A beautiful smile appears on his face. His radiant smile was so contagious that I return his smile. How could I not smile with a beautiful smile like his?"I love you," he once more confesses his strong love for me."I love you too," for the first time I confess my love for him.Lucas was so happy to hear me saying my true feeling for him. A brighter smile appears on his face, and he brought his forehead to mine, gently resting it onto mine. It was cute of the moment we were both sharing. But as we did, deep down I felt doubt that this was not right. I felt like we were going against the moon goddess. The moon goddess knew everything. She was powerful and knew what was right for us, us choosing our own path together I fear that we will end up in our own destru

The entire time I was in the shower. I couldn't help worrying when the right time was to tell Chloe about Lucas and I relationship. I thought about telling her when she returns home, but deep down it didn't feel like it was the right time. It feels like I was rushing.Chloe had a big crush on Lucas the biggest crush I had seen her have with any guys she had a liking for. It felt bad for me to tell her that Lucas and I were together. It saddens me. As much it pains me of deciding to keep it a secret until she finds her mate. It was the best thing to do. Still, I hated hiding anything from her. Chloe was a good wolf and she conceal nothing from me. Doing this I felt like was betraying her."You're trying to protect a good relationship from being broken," I told myself softly as I put on my bra and underwear and started on attiring myself in a beautiful red dress Chloe was so kind enough to give me.I pull done the dress. Chloe had gone into the shower. I stood still within the hallway facing the front door wondering what I should do. In my mind, it felt so easy running off to Lucas telling him, but doing it, it was giving me a hard time. I feel nervous confronting him after all the kisses we've shared right on the front porch. I felt my knees begin to weaken and my body trembling. You must, you need to get rid of this nervousness and see him now, I told myself strongly within my mind as I played with my fingers apprehensively. I exhale heavily and soon I was on my way to the front door opening it. I close the door behind me exiting the house. I made a right turn, walking along the side of the house. My speed increases the moment I begin to head up the hill and my heart begins to race. It races even more as I got closer to the house until I was on their front porch. My right hand slowly folded and gently I knock on the door."Dad, are you expecting any visitor," I heard Lucas's s

I held him tightly within my arms for what seemed like an hour. We both didn't want to let go of each other. Accepting alpha Ares within my life seemed too fast but deep down it felt right. His heart has been broken as badly as mine and, so, I know within my heart that I will be okay. Love takes time and within that time I know I'll be madly in love with him by the way he will treat me. I will be a good lover to him and a good she-wolf. I will respect him as much as he'll respect me."I hope I'm not stopping you from going to Spicy Groove," I said to him within his arms.Alpha Ares's arms slowly came from around me and soon we both began to stare into each other eyes."If you'd come with me this evening it would be good," he said softly.I blushed and nodded, accepting to go along with him not knowing where he was taking me."Let's get dress and leave now," he said."Why are we going to Spicy Groove?" I remained to stare into his eyes while tears slowly flowed down my cheeks. “I took 8 months from your life all from trusting one of my pack fighters,” Alpha Ares said pissed at me. I lower my head sadly. “I will let them pay,” he said angrily. Immediately, my head raised back to his. “They will pay for the 8 months you’ve waisted in jail, for all the time they made me robbed from you.” I couldn’t control myself and so I hugged him, weeping. I felt so relieved Lucas and his dad will suffer as I did. I wasn’t going to beg the alpha to forget what they did to me, they both deserved it. They were heartless towards me; they showed me no mercy. It felt so good being wrapped within the alpha’s arms. I felt so safe that I didn’t want to let him go nor him to let me go. Suddenly our heads slowly raised staring into each other eyes and our lips have begun to get close. Immediately, I stopped myself before we almost kissed. What we were
