I was really pissed off at her. She said she would go with that guy Justin. But I can't be angry with her cause I never really asked her to go with me... Right? But I felt upset really pissed off at my situation, now I gotta go to the ball with Kate. The worst part is she wouldn't stop talking. I need to block out her voice God it was annoying, I searched for my earphones and I put them on. Chainsmokers Roses was playing and I started texting Liam although he was sitting across the room.

Liam: Let me guess Kate? Why can't you just break up with her?
Drew: I can't do that cause she is not my freaking Girlfriend! How many times can I explain?

"Kate?!?!? where are you?" I screamed.
"Baby! What's wrong?" She came down from her room
"Everything!! This has to stop!" I tried to be calm.
"What? What do you mean?" She asked with annoyance.
"This! You and Me! I am not interested in you so just leave me alone you get that?" I said out of spite.
"So this is about your new plaything huh? I bet you'll be bored with her in a week or two you'll come running to me again, you can never be with someone like her!" She went nuts.
"Just shut the hell up! This has nothing to do with anyone but you... You are someone I can't be with... I can't even stand you." I was glaring with anger.
"Oh really? You were pretty much into me last week. How did you stand me when you stuck your tongue down my throat yesterday? You are just a pathetic playboy who can never feel the love!" She spite.
"Oh for god sake it was just one kiss! Don't make a scene! You know what I can't deal with this shit!" I said and turned to the other side.
"Yea! You can go to hell!" She said walking back to her room.
"I need some air." I need to go out
I walked out of my block and thought why I was so angry? I mean I always knew she was a drama queen but what got me so worked up, When Liam told me She screamed at June I lost it. I had this weird thing with June. I was drawn to her smile, her way of talking, her cheeks turning red and when I was practically rejected today when she agreed to go out with that other guy, I can't really stand that. I wasn't rejected by anyone ever I always get what I wanted.what does she see in him anyway??? I felt an unpleasant feeling creeping into my body.
"Andrew? Is that you?" I heard a familiar voice.
I turned to see June, My eyes widened in surprise.
I smiled at her faintly.
"Yes! Come over here!" I waved.
"Hey, you! What are you doing out in the dark all alone?" She asked concerned.
"Just came out to get some air!" I replied.
"Are you okay? You seem off?" She asked

"I am okay, Been better!" I left a fake laugh
"Seriously?" She asked with eyebrows raised.
"It's just I heard about Kate and I wanted to apologize for that," I said.
"Uhh..noo! It's not a big deal!" She said with a tone of surprise.
"Alright" I was silent
She sat beside me.
"Break up huh?" She asked

"Not exactly, She wasn't my girlfriend actually! She was just annoyingly clingy person who can't take understand the words " Leave me alone ". " I said sarcastically.
"Yet you look miserable!" she said.
I am miserable cause you agreed to go with some guy. Wait. What am I thinking? Am I really Miserable cause of that? For god sake, I just met her.
"I am miserable cause it's been more than 5 hrs since I had food, I m freaking hungry!" I left out a Chuckle
She smiled and got up.
"So care to join me for dinner?" She asked
"Sure!" I replied in a heartbeat.
"Come on let's go the dining hall is that way!" She showed pointing her fingers.
I followed her.
The food looked amazingly delicious. I grabbed a plate and took all the good stuff and searched for a table.
I saw Liam sitting with Becky and they both were talking about some random stuff.
Becky noticed us and came running towards us. I greeted her with a smile. We four sat at a table and started eating. Becky and Liam were making lame jokes, It wasn't funny yet everyone was laughing heard.
"So tell me about yourself?" I asked June
"Me? nothing much to say.. Mediocre student and.." I started.
"And a great singer!" Becky said.
"You sing? Cool!" Liam exclaimed.
"Yeah! " I smiled at her
"Where are you from?" she asked suddenly.
"Dallas, Texas. Single child, Mom is a party planner and My Dad is a businessman" I said with a small smile.
"Umm. Wow! Great I am originally from Sacramento but we move a lot and right now we live in Nashville and I have one younger brother, My mom is a teacher and My dad is a Doctor" She said politely.
We talked more and more about each other.
I learnt that she wanted to be a Songwriter Cum Singer when she was eleven. To be a Journalist was her ambition. I told her my passion was to become a social worker I could tell by her look she was impressed.
I never talk real stuff to a girl but this was different with her. I never wanted the conversation to end.
"So here is my Number! " I gave her a smiling.
She was surprised but replied with a smile. She called me back so that I could have her number. We finished our dinner and we were about to go back to our blocks.
Becky and Liam went before us. I offered to walk her back to her block. As we reached.
"I really had a nice day, Thank you!" She said smiling.
"I am pleased that you were blessed with a delighted company," I smirked
"Oh.. are we talking about you? " She smirked playfully.
I should have rolled my eyes annoyingly but I couldn't stop smiling at her.
If it wasn't dark I swear I could see her cheeks turn red. It was awkward when I wanted to hug her but she brought her hands front to shake hands.
Then I took her hands and kissed them slowly and pulled her in for a hug. I was really quick she wouldn't have expected it.
The hug was really long and warm I could stand there forever. Then I slowly loosened my grip on her. Our eyes locked for a few seconds there.
"I should probably go..it's late! " she said to fill up the silence
"Night June!" I said slowly.
"Good night Andrew! " She replied with a smile.
What a day? This has turned out to be I thought. I found myself smiling. What was wrong with me?

June's P.o.vAs per our dress code, everyone dressed in white and showed up in the main ground. Our ground was very different. The grass was trimmed evenly and there were tents for refreshments. Another tent was filled with water balloons, water guns and colour powder. It was World Colors Day indeed. The outdoor decoration was mesmerizing. There were white ribbons hanging here and there along with colourful bells and decoration stuff. It was like a totally different place. There was a small pool with clear water. Actually there were small pools here and there. The stage was also decorated according to the theme. Seeing the whole set up made me very happy. It was so pretty.ALL STUDENTS ALL REQUESTED TO TAKE THEIR PLACES.An announcement came from nowhere.We settled down immediately.Then I saw him. God, I hated him! I couldn't stop staring at him.
