THE CONTRACT

 

 You have know choice but to get married to him.

I mean it’s just for the time been “.

Once the contract is off ,you get a divorce and go back to your normal life. “ my mom said walking closer to me 

No mom”

This just doesn’t feel right 

I mean I have a boyfriend,for crying out loud,

Someone I love and cherish , someone I want to spend the rest of my life with.

And all of a sudden I’m suppose to get married to a God forsaken idiot who I don’t even love” I replied my mom with a shaky voice

This is definitely the worse scenario anyone could find themselves in, Getting married to someone I don’t know.”

I walked into my room and lay on my bed, my mind racing with numerous thoughts.

My parents only have me as a child.I lost my father when I was young and have spent my entire life with my mother.

I sat in bed contemplating how I could help my mother out of the situation she's in without being married to the Grayson son.

One of the wealthiest families in New York City is the Grayson family.Their son Rico is a well-known player who is harsh and egotistical.

My mom works as a cook in the Graysons, I have encountered Rico on two different occasions and I most definitely hate him.

Tears rolled down, of course how the hell am I not suppose to cry. We literally owe the Grayson a huge amount of money.

My mother got into an argument with a cook at the Grayson residence.They destroyed a gilded glass table worth millions of dollars while they were at each other's necks.My mother, who has worked as a cook there for a while, was at the whim of Mr. Grayson. Luckily for her she wasn’t sent away or probably sent to jail.

I rushed out of my room and headed to my best friend,Jane’s place 

“Girl this isn’t a joke anymore “

Mom meant everything she said about get married to Rico “ I told her frowning 

“So ??”

The most popular guy in Newyork city and every girls dream “

What more do you want??

Who wouldn’t want to get married to someone like him??

I feel like I’m been sold in exchange for the debt we owe..

I told you my encounter with him,

He changes girls like he changes his clothes ,he’s rude,arrogant and annoying.” I snarled

I’m getting married to my moms boss?? I sigh in frustration

Rico’s Pov

We have to be fast about signing the contract before you travel down to Russia.

You’re aware that Mr Gregory won’t like to award you the business deal if he finds out your reputation with ladies. My Dad asked sitting across the chair opposite mine in his office.

Yea “  I know Dad 

But does it rest have to be a maids daughter?

I don’t have a problem with signing a marriage contract but not a maid daughter.

She’s not fit to come close to me let alone a wife,

Jeez.” I growled 

Their family is indebted to us which makes it easier to access them and probably nobody finding out it’s all a contract marriage.

So get ready tomorrow, the contract will be signed and we continue further preparations.

FAST-FORWARD

I walked gracefully inside the room, everyone was seated waiting for me.

Alright I’m here now,

Let’s get started immediately I don’t have a minute to spare “ I said sitting close to my dad

Whatever it is that goes on here stays here.

Within the period of three months, you’re going to be married to my son. My dad said

On papers actually “ I replied in an irritated manner 

Please go through the papers and sign, my dad said handling the papers to them 

There’s nothing much to go through,

It’s not like you have a Choice.

Sign the Goddamn papers, lets get out of here.

If looks could kill, I will be dead My now. The look on the ladies face showed hatred.

The documents were signed, my dad head outside with the maid leaving me and the annoying lady behind.

Don’t get overly excited “

This is just a contract, you’re not fit to be my slave let alone my wife.

I only agreed to this because of my reputation and just so I could badge a business deal .. I jotted out

This guy is crazy!

Who the hell does he thinks he is??

I bet those sneaky girls makes him think every girl wants to have a thing with him “.

I hissed and walked out of the room.

I just signed a stupid contract without saying a word to my boyfriend.

2 Days later 

A driver came to pick me up to Rico’s place.Mr Grayson asked us to stay in one of Rico’s mansion within the period of the contract.

It was on a Saturday morning so I guessed Rico will be at home.

I walked into the magnificent building,wowed at how beautiful the house looks..

I twisted the door knob open an flinched at the sight.

Rico was at the top of a lady looking half naked.

They were both mumbling and kissing each other,unware of my presence.

Rico loosed his belt and was about pulling his trouser when yelled..
