THE CONFERENCE

Rico’s Pov 

I HATE YOU RICO” I heard Ashley yell 

And I hate you more “ I yelled back 

Just immediately a message popped up on my phone reminding me of a meeting that will be held tomorrow.

The company is having meetings with all our investors and partners to our company .

One of the company partners son is my rival.

I don’t see him as a rival though because he is way below my standards but then again I hate his guy.

Sometimes I wonder why the hell they choose to partner with my when we both hate each other.

I drove down to my favorite bar to have a little bit of fresh air.the bartender brought my usual drink while they go get the ladies like always.

Two slim ladies walked up to me dancing and caressing my body while I sip my drink.

I was getting bored and decided to take one of the ladies home..

I pushed the lady on the couch ripping off her clothes. 

She was wearing a very tight dress with made it a little bit difficult for me the pull off.

Finally ripped the clothes off and went ahead to pull of my pants and then I heard a loud scream 

Jeez , I am sorry “Ashley screamed and ran off.

Ahhh” I yelled 

Must this crazy girl intrude in my space.

How annoying”

I got off the lady, threw a dollar note at her and told her to leave..

Ashley “ I yelled 

Where the hell did she run off to?

She walked towards my direction looking nervous and scared.

I remember telling you to stay off my part except I ask you to?? I asked sternly

Yes, you did “ she stammered 

So what the hell where you doing downstairs?

 

I...I.. wasn’t aware you were around 

I plugged these on my ears she replied raising her headphone.

I dragged her closer smuggling her hands

Don’t you ever cross my part again “ I warned sternly 

Yes..yes she replied smuggling her hands off..

By the way you’re going with me to my company as my wife, don’t disgrace me . If you do, consider yourself a dead meat. I told her and walked off 

Next day

Ashley place her hands on mine while we walked into the company.she was dressed in a royal blue jumpsuit and a silver stilettos.She really looked beautiful but I wasn’t gonna tell her. One would hardly tell she is just a daughter to a maid.

All eyes were focused on us, I mean it’s the first time they have ever seen me with a lady this way. rI was well known as a playboy.

My dad requested I bring Ashley to the company for our partners and investors to see her. Jo-din Empire, Jordan’s company one of our partners but most definitely my enemy.Jordan and I were childhood friends until we had issues and became total stranger.

I told Ashley to wait for me in my office while i go see my dad before the meeting gets started.

Ashley Pov 

I heave a sigh of relief when Rico went off to see his dad .A little time for me to have my own space.

I was getting bored and decided to take a walk since  Rico was taking forever to comeback.All eyes diverted towards my direction as a walked around the company. Whispers and murmurs filled the air. I was starting to feel uncomfortable since I wasn’t used to such type of attention. Rico has always been a die hard fan amongst ladies so I bet they’d be upset to see someone like me as is wife.

I increased my pace,so I could get to Rico’s office faster to avoid him noticing my absence, and the attention I was getting was too much for me.

As I was walking I bumped into a manly figure.

I’m sorry “ I said trying to rush off.

The man grabbed my hands and stopped me from moving further .

“Not now” I muttered under my breath .

Here I am trying to avoid been scolded by Rico and this God forsaken man wants me to get scolded.

I raised my heads up to the face of the man holding my hands. A light skin man with blonde colored hair stood in my front.he has a well built manly structure and a good looking face but Rico looks way more handsome than he is.

I’m sorry” I said trying to loose my hands from his.

He gripped my hand tightly while gazing at me like he was trying to figure me out.

“Apology Accepted “

By the way you look beautiful he said smiling 

Thank you” I replied 

At this point all I wanted to do was to get back to Rico’s office but this man rich here wasn’t giving me the chance to.

He couldn’t complete his statement when I felt a grip on my other hand .

“Let her go” the voice said sternly 

My heart started racing 

“I said let her go” Rico said

Jeez this was what I was trying to avoid.the guy let go of my hands .

“Your property “ he said smirking 

One could easily see the hate they had for each other.it was very obvious this wasn’t about me leaving his office.

Who the he’ll asked you to leave my office Rico asked? I’m sorry I was feeling bored staying here so I decided to take a walk , I replied .

He took a deep breath trying to calm himself. 

The meeting is about to get started and you’re Giotto be announced as my wife, Don’t fuck this up he said heading towards the direction of the door.

The meeting was over, I was introduced as his wife during the meeting.

Rico was having chit chat with his dad and some of the investors while I sat down waiting for them.the guy who stopped me earlier walked up to me.

“Wow” so you’re Rico’s wife ?? He asked smiling 

Yes I am” I replied him 

Well I never thought Rico would ever fall in love let alone get married.

Always known him as a play he said smiling.

Well we have been together for a while and decided to get married I replied him putting on a fake smile 

Can we take a walk outside he asked??

I looked towards Rico’s direction but he was highly engaged in whatever conversation they were having.

I’m sorry I don’t think it’s a good idea, I replied him 

Come on Rico doesn’t bite “

We could probably just have whatever conversation right here to avoid causing any scene.

Alright then he said wrapping his hands around my shoulder .

I brushed his hands off . Rico gazed towards our direction and Jordan placed his hand over my shoulder again smirking at Rico
