Chapter 32

SARAH

"Fucking stop her!" I heard Emilio thunder at the guard who stood next to the gate. But it was too late.

He was oblivious of what was happening and before he realised what Emilio meant, I had pushed him out of the way and sprinted through the partially opened gates.

"You are a bloody fool!" I could hear Emilio cursing him behind me but I couldn't stop to celebrate my victory because I knew Emilio was giving me a hot chase behind.

"Sarah fucking stop running and just come back!" He furiously ordered, racing towards me.

My breathing was heavy, my heart in my stomach as I ran into the dead night, unsure of where I was going.

I was not running towards the normal route that led towards the more crowded area of this gated community. Instead I was running towards the opposite direction which I had never done before because Emilio's house was the last house on the street and after his mansion was the bushy woods.
