SARAH

I watched as Emilio took slow strides further into my ward and then he shut the door behind him, that same charming smile not leaving his lips.

"I am really glad you are awake principessa" he smiled. "How are you feeling?" He added.

I pushed myself to sit up and I opened my mouth to speak but I immediately began coughing. My throat felt so dry and acidic.

"W-water.." I croaked.

Emilio quickly poured me a glass of water from the nearby water dispenser placed in my ward and handed it to me. Like a starved human, I sculled down the water, relishing the feel of having such a cold liquid run through my system.

"I hope you are better?" Emilio inquired.

My brows pulled together and shock was wrapped across my face. Why did he seem so concerned about me this time? Didn't he despise me anymore?

I thought my decision to leave would definitely leave a dent in the way he felt about me, well he never actually cared for me in the first place.
