Chapter 26 The Recommendation

That evening, after I returned home, I got a call from Mia. She told me she had contacted Eleanor.

Mia thought our ballet skills were good enough and that instead of practicing repeatedly, it would be better for me to adjust my state before rehearsing again.

Of course, she didn't say that to Eleanor. She told our coach that we had trained enough on the first day and needed a break, so we wouldn't be rehearsing tomorrow.

Eleanor, as usual, complained that we hadn't restrained ourselves as she advised, but she granted us a day off.

"I'm really grateful, Mia." Mia had given me the chance to adjust myself.

"Save your useless gratitude. I hope next time I see you, your condition won't be so bad that I feel the urge to change partners." Mia's teasing now seemed endearing to me.

Before hanging up, she asked if I wanted to go shopping with her, saying it was a good way to relieve stress.

I declined.

"I think I'll visit my adorable little siblings tomorrow. That will help me."
