THE ENCOUNTER

"Screw that!" Alpha Marcus yelled at the soldier and paced around the palace building. "We are set to leave and I wouldn't want to hear any stories. As for you, you will remain here in the palace and henceforth, you cease to be one of my soldiers."

He meant just what he had said. He immediately began to step out of the palace, riding on his own horse while the other soldiers followed behind him.

Their weapons were all glittering and ready to destroy anyone who stood by their way. As a result of how fast they rode on the horses in a bid to catch up with Elena and her cohorts, they arrived at the cave earlier and began to scrutinize everywhere in search of them.

They got into the cave but there was no single person in there anymore, they had escaped to God knows where.

Alpha Marcus held his jaw furiously. "I knew this was going to happen, I definitely knew it would come to this." He cried, beating his cheek. "If only we had left earlier than this."
