After spending a few time with Alvina, Ruthie left Alvina's chamber.

With fear, Ruthie went to Gabriella's chamber, pondering what she was going to tell Gabriella, so she would understand her, and not punish her.

Ruthie found herself standing before Gabriella with her body quivering and her head bowed.

Gabriella gazed at Ruthie with skeptical brows, assuming that something was wrong, and Ruthie was there to report it.

“What's it, Ruthie?” Gabriella curiously inquired with her arms crossed above her chest.

Upon hearing Gabriella's voice, Ruthie quickly fell to her knees–head bowed with a sad expression.

“Forgive me, Your Majesty,” Ruthie cried out as she let tears flow down her cheeks.

“You haven't answered my question, Ruthie.” Gabriella smirked, “What's it? Talk to me.”

Gabriella hastened towards Ruthie. She grabbed Ruthie's jaw and angrily lifted it, so she could see Ruthie's expression.

Gabriella grimaced at her as they gazed at each other.
