BRIELLE’S POV

~’ That's her, Warren’s scorned daughter.’

‘Smack her!’

‘We'd kill her right now. She's nothing but a scumbag and a witch.’

Brielle raised her hands above her head as the villagers and people around her continued to throw stones at her.

She had no idea why she had come here or what she had done wrong this time.

She couldn't even remember how they had dragged her out of her house and into the open square, where they had pelted her with stones, dirty water, rotten eggs, pellets, and whatever else they could think of.

She couldn't even bring her hands to her nose because she stank so badly.

Her clothes were clinging to her skin, sloppy and wet.

There was nothing she could do about it, and she couldn't cry or scream at them to stop because she would be wasting her time.

"What happened to the cloth?" She heard an all too familiar deep masculine voice ask from afar, and she tried to look up amidst the crowd around her to see if she could catch a glimpse of who this perso

DARIUS POV "I believe that's all, thank you." Darius rasped out, immediately hanging up the phone and putting it in his pocket. Closing his eyes briefly, he allowed the cool air from the open tinted windows to wash over him as he relaxed his back on the limousine seat. He didn't know how or when, but his mind was instantly filled with illicit images of Brielle in various positions while he fucked her. He'd left her peacefully sleeping with a kiss on her forehead this morning, and she hadn't even stirred. Her soft breathing indicated that she was utterly exhausted. He tried ruffling his hair to distract himself from the previous night's events, but it didn't work. He didn't even want the thought to leave, and with a smile appearing on his lips, he daydreamed. Last night had to be the best night he'd had in a long time. It was different, electrical, and not just a sexual encounter between a dominant and a submissive. This time, he had been passionately intimate with her, and he

MADELINE’S POVThe black jeep sped into the mansion, bringing some fresh air, and Madeline inhaled sharply as it flew in through the open windows. They were finally back! Today had been an exciting day as she and Lady Delilah had begun to put their plan into action. They had gone to an unusual location. The outskirts of town, hoping to meet some traders or men who could assist them with their mission. Madeline had watched as Lady Delilah spoke a strange language to the local men, explaining what would happen. The mistress, who appeared tense, had relaxed and seemed happy as she hugged the men and exchanged farewell pleasantries before walking back towards their car on the lonely road. Because she had watched the proceedings from the car, Madeline had no idea what the negotiations had been about or how much Lady Delilah had paid the men. But then the mistress had briefed her, however, and she was satisfied with the explanations. She didn't care about the deal... All she wanted

Brielle tried hard not to show the fear in her expression as the awful feeling within her continued to stir. She was more afraid after watching Madeline and Lady Delilah's conversation through the window. Brielle thanked her body for not slowing down and succumbing to slumber as she reflected on her difficulty sleeping. She would have missed the show if she had given in to slumber. She’d been wide awake and alert when she heard the car drive in, and she had rushed out of her bed and straight to the window to see who had arrived at the mansion. DARIUS POVDarius had arrived at his destination a few hours before, and he was settling in after a long and exhausting journey. The hotel suite reserved for him screamed elegance and luxury. It had everything he needed, and Darius adored the space. He was putting his clothes away in the gold-plated wardrobe when he heard a knock on the door. Whoever it was didn't even wait for his consent or approval before swinging open the door, and in walked the porter who had shown him around the suite moments before. "Is anything the matter?" Darius immediately inquired, turning around with a slight smile on his face. "Not much, just special requests regarding your preferred menu and items you'll require during your stay here." The young man appeared to respond by handing over a paper, which he immediately collected. Running his gaze through the lists, the minutes passed in silence until Darius was finished. Moving closer, heads bowed, and fingers pointed at the paper, Darius made some a

As she was tossing and turning for the umpteenth time, she began to recall her earlier conversation with Madeline. Brielle couldn't believe Madeline was now so close to Lady Delilah, and she couldn't shake the feeling that the two of them were up to something sinister. Something that kept making her stomach churn, and she despised the sensation. “No, no!” She exclaimed loudly, turning around on her bed and furiously shaking her head. She wasn't going to think about Madeline or Lady Delilah. This evening, she didn't want anything or anyone to ruin her mood. BRIELLE’S POVThe sun rays from the nearby open windows shone straight down on Brielle's eyes, and she was sitting up on the bed in an instant. Blinking her eyes slowly and rubbing furiously at them so she could see well, Brielle slowly opened her eyes, yawning loudly. It was morning again, another day where she would sit alone from morning to night doing nothing. Thinking about Lord Darius almost every time didn't automatically translate into any duty, and she let out a small smile at the thought of him again. Yawning again, Brielle calculated in her head that it was just three days since the Lord of the manor had embarked on his journey, and shrugging her shoulders, eyes swooning, a blush crept up her cheeks. She missed him so much… so much that it hurt, and she didn’t know what to say about this. ‘He doesn’t give a fuck about you, Brielle….’ She tried to remind herself, but she still thought of him.Not to mention her nights were filled with satisfying orgasms she had while ple

MADELINE’S POV"Are you all set for tonight?" When she heard Lady Delilah's voice, Madeline's face lit up, and she leapt from the bed she was sitting on. She'd been waiting for the mistress since she’d been summoned. However, when she arrived, Madeline was told she'd gone out on a quick errand. Making use of the free time, she’d been so lost in her thoughts, seated on the bed and fidgeting her fingers anxiously as her mind drifted, that she probably hadn't heard Lady Delilah come in. “Yes, ma…” Madeline trailed off, curious about what had been said earlier because she didn’t quite catch a thing. "I'm referring to the mission. Are you all set for tonight?" Lady Delilah inquired again, a sinister smirk on her face, and Madeline's dark smile mirrored hers. "Yes, yes, I am fully prepared." She replied reassuringly, nodding once. "Wonderful, wonderful..." Lady Delilah said satisfactorily, and Madeline watched as the woman confidently paced around the room. Tonight, Brielle would be

DARIUS POVHalf-naked strippers in nothing but panties and bras flocked to Darius, but he politely declined their advances at every turn. He'd come to this bar at the request of one of his most important business clients, and they'd gotten halfway through their deal, but now they were resting. Sipping his whiskey and setting the glass cup in his hand on a nearby table, he straightened his suit and adjusted himself in his seat. Looking around, Darius noticed the supposed business client being sucked out by a naked lady on her knees, and he dragged his gaze away from the repulsive sight. Darius picked up his cup again, slightly ruffling his hair, and began to down the contents in large quantities, pouring more whiskey. While he sat casually looking around, more and more women approached him, but it never occurred to him to grab any of the blonde or brunette-haired ladies by the waist and have his way with them. • Sold To The Lycan King   A Gripping Tale’s End

BRIELLE'S POVHer heart fluttered like a flower picked from a peaceful garden. Brielle searched for words to convey how she felt as Darius hoisted her up the floor. Euphoria. Joy. Thrill. Delight. Excitement. Surprise. Yes. These words clearly defined the situation, but there was more going on. Something deeper. Something she couldn't quite put her finger on. Perhaps she didn't know what word to use, but it wasn't happiness. It was more than that. "My love. Mine, all mine..." Darius repeated in her ears as he twirled her around. After a few minutes, he dropped her back onto her feet.Brielle remained still for a moment, attempting to regain her breath. Her mind buzzed with so many different thoughts, and she felt dizzy and possibly lightheaded from all the dancing, but that didn't stop her from stretching her toes and kissing Darius on the cheek."How are you feeling?" Darius asked, and she replied. “I feel on top of the world. Or maybe I'm already flying through it; I have no idea

A MONTH LATERDARIUS' POVThe banquet went better than Darius had anticipated. He had hoped for a low-key and personal ceremony in which he could deliver the glad news to his people and seal the everlasting union with his partner, but the event planners had other ideas. They'd gone over and aboard, and he surprisingly approved. Every area of the castle was artistically ornamented with gold and scarlet decorations. Everything was stunning, from the beautiful wall tapestries to the intricate floral arrangements, and the crystal chandelier glowed like a light in the hall's center. It was ethereal. Just like the woman for whom this entire charade was intended. Darius smiled as he continued to glance around. His gaze swept through the guests in the room, mingling, drinking, and speaking in groups. He also watched the servants rushing around carrying platters, refilling drinks, and doing almost anything to keep the party going. Finally, his wandering attention was interrupted by the mo

BRIELLE’S POVThere wasn’t a force more powerful in the universe than love. At least, that was what Brielle was thinking as she watched Darius dress in front of the mirror. Her lips watered as he flexed his muscles to remove the white shirt that hugged his body's curves. They had both healed, and all that remained were the scars. Though as memories converged in her head, she nearly let out a whimper. She’d gone through a lot, and damn! Anytime she remembered the whippings, electric shocks, cold water dousing, and even days she went without food, tears streamed down her cheeks. It wasn't easy to forget what had happened, but with Darius, it was becoming easier than she had expected. He was at her side throughout the recovery process, and she couldn't have asked for anything more. "Like what you see?" Darius smirked, interrupting Brielle's thoughts. He was looking at her through the mirror, and when their eyes met, her cheeks flushed. She looked away."Umm." She murmured and said n

  • Sold To The Lycan King   A Love Rekindled

DARIUS POV Darius walked carefully down the corridor with his guards in tow. He’d woke up a few hours earlier, and all he could think about was seeing Brielle. The dream from the day before continued to torment him, keeping him half-awake all night. Now, all he wanted was to see and hug her tightly. Then he’d apologize for how he had neglected her—the anguish he'd caused her by not being present when she needed him most. And maybe she'd forgive him. But would she? The inexplicable torture she went through in Draken Havix's hands, as well as his irresponsible choice to send her out into the wild, was nothing short of horrific. It was unforgivable, and Brielle deserved much better. She deserved more than to be with a man like that. He was a coward and an idiot who couldn’t even admit that she had transformed him from who he used to be to a better person. But then, he was also a selfish fool, so he wouldn’t let her go. Not in this lifetime or the next. Regardless of these thought

It took a few more attempts before she could open them properly, and eventually, they slid wide enough for her to see where she was.Brielle had to squint a little until her eyes adjusted to the light, which was in stark contrast to what she was used to - dim lighting, quiet, and empty space. 'Where was she?' She frowned and pondered, 'How did she get here?'.She tried to push herself up into a sitting position but froze when a sharp pain shot through her skull again."Damn it." She muttered quietly, lifting a hand to her forehead, only to discover that it was attached to something, and she could not move it. "Fuck! Where am I?" She cursed aloud and, with her eyes roaming, began taking inventory of the room. And that's when she noticed it. The familiar curtains dangling from the windows. The dark red couches facing one another, and gold-plated side ta

  • Sold To The Lycan King   The Fall Of Draken Havix

DARIUS POVDarius fought with all of his strength. He hit and punched, channeling his inner strength until Draken was a bloody mess.Earlier, when Draken had transformed into a wolf and leaped at him, Darius had been prepared for it. His fangs and claws had sharpened, and he’d transformed into his lycanthrope wolf form. He rarely shifted, but when he did, he wasted no time. As a Lycan, he would always be faster than his opponent and better equipped to catch his prey. So when the man attacked, Darius didn't even think about what he could do. His beast form had switched to autopilot, and its instincts took over. He'd scarcely noticed anything when he attacked. He only felt the pain of the punches and strikes, which weren't too severe because he wasn't on the receiving end of them. Draken, on the other hand, was severely beaten. His hairy face was matted with blood, and there were several large gashes all over his body. At this point, he wasn't even fighting back, just squirming and

BRIELLE'S POV"What is happening?" Brielle overheard the question, as many guards entered the cell with troubled expressions."There is a very big problem." One of them spoke, and despite her weakness, Brielle managed to stretch her ears enough to hear what they were saying. "Which is? Can someone fucking talk to me?" Another guard inquired, and the whip in his hand tumbled to the floor. It fell with a resounding thud, and the sound echoed off the cell walls. The air seemed to cool even more. The room was silent for a long time until one of the guards spoke up again. "Master Draken and Lord Darius are…"Brielle's heart sank when she heard Darius's name."Goodness gracious please, let nothing happen to him…" The words came out of her mouth unexpectedly, almost in prayer, and a stray tear streamed down her left cheek. The guards resumed discussing, but this time in quiet tones, as if frightened Brielle would hear them. It irritated her, and she wanted to yell. She wanted to question t

  • Sold To The Lycan King   Truce Or War? 2

BRIELLE'S POV "Please…" Brielle begged and screamed at the top of her lungs, but the guards did not stop. The more she pleaded, the more the torture increased, and they continued to whip her body with their batons. But she understood why this was happening. Darius was here again. He'd arrived yesterday, and while she hadn't seen him, the rate at which her torture had risen was clear evidence of this. Her agonizing yells were intended to convey a message to Darius. Draken was using it as a tactic to demonstrate that he still had the upper hand and leverage. Brielle's heart wrenched painfully as she thought of the wicked older man who held her captive. A shiver ran down Brielle's spine as she remembered their talk from last night. He'd informed her that Darius still loved her, and despite her misery, she couldn't deny that his words had given her hope. Even when he made insulting jokes about her and Darius's deaths, a small part of her brain ignored the unpleasant words and focused
