EMMELINE

"Put that on."

I froze for a moment before turning my head to look at Darius. He stood by the door, casually tossing a silky nightdress onto the bed like it was no big deal. His voice had that sharp, commanding edge, like he was barking orders at one of his guards.

I stared at the flimsy piece of fabric, my eyebrows shooting up. It wasn’t just thin—it was practically see-through. The thought of wearing that in front of him made my skin crawl.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” I said, my arms crossing over my chest. “There’s no way I’m putting that on.”

Darius let out a long sigh, his eyes narrowing at me like I was a stubborn child testing his patience. "Don’t make this harder than it needs to be," he said, his tone flat but firm.

I didn’t budge. “I’m not wearing it,” I said again, this time with more bite. “You can say it a hundred times, but it’s not happening.”

He pinched the bridge of his nose like I was some kind of child testing his patience. “Don’t be stubborn, Molly. Jus

His eyes were locked on the dimly lit windows of the run-down motel in Red Cave Pack’s territory.I followed his gaze, catching the faint shadows of two figures moving around inside one of the rooms. “They’re getting sloppy,” I said, smirking. “Tracking Molly must have exhausted them.”Dawson snorted softly. “We should wait until they’re settled. Less mess that way. Plus the element of surprise.”I nodded. He was right. The longer we waited, the less chance they’d have to put up a fight. “Stay alert. They might be dumb, but they’re still wolves.”Dawson glanced at me, his voice dropping to a whisper. “Are you sure this won’t raise suspicions if their bodies are found?”I paused, considering his question. Would killing them stir up more trouble? Probably. But leaving them alive wasn’t an option. If they found Molly, everything would unravel. Before I could answer, one of the men inside the

EMMELINEI wandered aimlessly around the estate, my bare feet brushing against the cool marble floor. The place was silent, except for the occasional chirp of birds outside or the distant sound of footsteps from the guards.I didn’t know where Darius had gone. After last night, I expected him to have me locked in, maybe post guards at every damn door, but… nothing. What the hell was his game?I shook my head, trying to make sense of him, but it was useless. One minute he was growling orders at me, the next he was acting like he… cared. Did he?And then there was me.Why wasn’t I running?I paused by the large windows overlooking the garden, staring at the trees swaying in the breeze. Freedom was just out there. All I had to do was walk—no, run—and I’d be gone. But I didn’t move. My legs stayed rooted to the ground, like they belonged here.“Pathetic,” I muttered to myself, turning away and heading back upstairs.I found myself in Darius’s room again. His scent lingered in the air—wood

EmmelineI’d been trying to keep my mind blank as I watered the flowers, but it wasn’t working. It never worked. My thoughts always wandered back to him, no matter how much I didn’t want them to.I was crouched over a cluster of daisies, the watering can dangling loosely in my hand, when I heard the sound of hurried footsteps. Two maids rushed past me, their chatter breaking the stillness of the garden.“Alpha Darius is back,” one of them said, her voice laced with both relief and excitement.I froze, the watering can slipping from my fingers and splashing water onto the soil. I picked it up almost immediately. He was back? My pulse quickened, but I couldn’t tell if it was from anger, nerves, or something else entirely.I stood there for a moment, staring at the flowers as if they could give me answers. Why the hell did I care that he was back? I set the can down, my heart pounding for reasons I didn’t want to examine. I told myself I was only curious—no, annoyed. That’s all. But bef

EmmelineDinner was surprisingly… normal.Well, as normal as it could get when you were sitting across from a man who might have murdered your family.Darius and I ate without saying a word, the only sound coming from our silverware scraping against the plates. He looked completely at ease, focused on his meal, while my thoughts were all over the place. By now, I should have been used to sitting across from him, but something about tonight felt… off.Something didn’t sit right with me. It was like the air around us was heavy and charged with something unseen, as if something was about to happen but hadn’t yet. Maybe it was nothing. Maybe I was just overthinking. Maybe I was being paranoid. Or maybe—A knock at the door made me jump.Darius, however, didn’t even flinch. He wiped his mouth with a napkin, taking his damn time before speaking. “Come in.”The door opened, and a guard stepped inside, bowing his head slightly. “Alpha, you have visitors. EMMELINEMy mind was racing wildly. Dead. The trackers were dead. Murdered. Just like that. I sat on Darius’s bed, picking at a loose thread on the duvet. I tried to convince myself that Darius had nothing to do with it and it was all just a big coincidence. But if he didn't, who could have done it? And why?The door creaked open and Darius walked in. His eyes turned dark and stormy the second they landed on me."Were you listening?" he asked.I hesitated for a second, but my guilt churned in my stomach. "Yeah," I admitted, my voice barely above a whisper. He sighed, running a hand through his already messy hair. "Molly, that's dangerous. What if someone saw you?"I leaned forward. "I can handle myself, Darius."He just shook his head and walked over to a cabinet, pulling out a bottle of wine and a glass. He poured himself a generous amount, the red liquid swirling in the glass. He took a long swig, his Adam's apple bobbing. "Did you kill them?" The question burst out of me be

EMMELINEWaking up tangled in Darius’s arms was… well, it was new and kind of awkward. My first thought was to hide under the blankets, like I could just vanish or something. Goddess, I was being such a dork.“What are you doing?” Darius chuckled sleepily.“Nothing,” I mumbled into the pillow. “Just… admiring the blanket.”He scoffed. “You’re weird.”I peeked out at him, my cheeks burning. “I’m shy, okay? Cut me some slack.”He just grinned, pulling me closer. “Shy? After last night?” He raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes.I smacked his chest playfully. “Shut up.” Just then, the door opened and a couple of maids came in carrying trays stacked with food. The smell of tea and several other dishes made my stomach rumble. We ate in comfortable silence, the awkwardness from earlier slowly dissipating. But deep down, my mind was racing. Now that I knew the truth, now that I had Darius by my side, there was only one thing on my mind: revenge.“I want to make them pay, Dariu

This was a mistake. My eyes darted around the room, taking in the sheer number of people. Powerful people. And holy moly, the women! So many of them, all dolled up and radiating an aura of confidence that made me feel like a stray kitten in a dog show. Then, across the room, The Alpha of the Greyfield Pack spotted us. And instead of waiting for Darius to approach, the man rushed toward us.Wasn’t it supposed to be the other way around?“Darius,” he greeted, a wide grin on his face as he extended a hand.Darius clasped it firmly, nodding. “Alpha Gregor.”“I didn’t think you would make it!” Gregor boomed, shaking Darius’s hand excitedly. “Thank you for coming.” Darius gave him a nod and a curt, “It’s good to see you again Gregor,” he said, smiling. Gregor’s eyes immediately flicked to me, curiosity flashing in them.“And who is this beauty?”“Oh!” The

I couldn’t.Not after what I’d heard at the ball.He had a mistress. An official mistress. Not just some random woman—a chosen mistress, selected by the pack's council. And yet, I’d never heard of her. Not once. No mention, no rumors, not even a passing comment. Why?What happened to her?Is she still around? Did she fall down a well? Spontaneously combust from the sheer drama of it all?I wanted to ask. To demand answers. To rip them out of him if I had to.But I didn’t. It wasn’t the right time. EMMELINE★☆★☆★☆The rough hands of the lycan guards practically threw me inside. I landed hard on the cold stone floor, the air knocked right out of my lungs. I gasped, trying to suck in some air, my chest heaving like I’d run a marathon. Which, technically, I kind of had.“Emmeline! What the hell happened?” Sylas was instantly beside me, his strong hands gripping my shoulders, pulling me upright. His face was etched with worry, his eyes searching mine.It took a few ragged breaths, but I finally managed to choke out the words. “Michael… that son of a bitch… he exposed me. They know. They’re coming.” The last part came out in a shaky whisper, the reality of it all crashing down on me.Sylas’s grip tightened for a second, and his expression went dark, like a storm cloud rolling in. He lifted me as if I weighed nothing, despite the adrenaline still coursing through me, and gently placed me on a nearby chair. My legs felt like jelly, and I was still trembling.“I knew this day would come

EMMELINE★☆★☆★☆This night had gone straight to hell. One moment, I was in a grand banquet hall, surrounded by laughter and music, and the next? I was running for my damn life through the dark forest, my lungs burning and my heart hammering against my ribs like a war drum.I had no shoes on now, no time to think, just raw survival instincts screaming at me to move faster. My dress was torn, catching on branches as I pushed through, but I didn’t stop. I couldn’t."FIND HER!" a voice roared behind me. "DON’T LET HER ESCAPE, DAMN IT!"Escape. That was the only thing on my mind. The forest was a maze of trees and shadows, every direction, every turn looking exactly like the last. I had no freaking clue where I was going, just a blind, desperate hope that I’d stumble across the Lycans estate before they caught me.I had to make it to the estate, not just to save myself but to also warn them. Sylas would know what to do. He had to. If I didn’t make it there… I don’t even want to imagine wha

EMMELINE’S POV★★★★★★★★★Ugh, all that fancy food and forced smiles were starting to give me a stomach ache…I needed a quick escape to the ladies' room before I painted the pristine white tablecloth with my dinner. I told Darius I needed to pee – a totally believable excuse, right? – and slipped out of the banquet hall. The bathroom was down the hall, and I was just heading back, feeling a little bit better, when I noticed the music had stopped. Weird. Then I heard voices coming from a side room. Something felt… off. Like a really bad vibe was radiating from behind that closed door. My feet just stopped. I knew that voice. Michael’s. That slimy bastard. My heart started hammering against my ribs. How in the actual hell did he find out? I crept closer, my hands shaking. Peeking through the slightly ajar door, I saw a bunch of Alphas crammed in there, including those two absolute digusting devils, Alpha Crock and Alpha Mathias. Darius was standing tall in the middle of them, facing Mic

DARIUS☆☆☆☆☆☆Man, I couldn't stop the stupid grin plastered on my face if I tried. Sitting here in the meeting room with Dawson my beta, going over this damn invitation list for the banquet, every name we ticked off just made me feel lighter. Like a weight I didn't even know I was carrying had finally been lifted.“Think we’ve got everyone important, boss?” Dawson asked, his pen hovering over the last few names. He looked up at me, a small smile playing on his lips. He knew how happy I was. Everyone did. It was probably radiating off me like heat from a damn furnace.“Yeah, man, looks good,” I said, leaning back in my chair. “Anyone we missed, they can just… well, they can kick themselves later for not being on the list for the party of the century.” I chuckled, and Dawson joined in. It felt good, this easy laughter. It felt right.“Party of the century, huh?” Dawson repeated, shaking his head with a grin. “You’re really going all out, aren’t you?”“Damn right, I am!” I exclaimed, my

EMMELINE☆☆☆☆☆Ugh, I woke up feeling like a truck had run me over. My eyes felt heavy, and my body just wanted to stay glued to the mattress. I reached out my hand, but the other side of the bed was cold. Darius was already gone for his meeting. Of course, Mr. Important always had somewhere to be. I dragged myself out of bed and headed for the bathroom. A long, hot bath sounded like the only thing that could possibly make me feel human again. After my bath, I went to the dining room, and breakfast was already waiting for me. The usual spread – fruits, some toast, and that fancy tea Darius insisted on. I wasn’t really hungry, but I managed to eat a little something. I was feeling restless, cooped up in the house. So, I decided to take a short stroll in the gardens. The flowers were blooming, and the air was fresh. It was actually quite nice for a bit.But then, halfway through my walk, a wave of nausea hit me like a punch to the gut. I suddenly felt this urge to throw up, and before I

EMMELINE☆☆☆☆☆☆I had to see Sylas. Like, really needed to. After everything that went down, him helping find me and all, it just felt right to go over to his Estate. Plus, you know, gotta keep things moving, right? Can’t just sit around feeling rescued all day.So I headed over to the other Estate. It's not like it's a huge ride or anything. And when I got there, Sylas was, well, Sylas. He turned to me, and there was this look in his eyes – kinda serious, but also…relieved? “Emmeline,” he said, that deep voice of his, “Good to see you again.”“Hey,” I replied, stepping inside. “Thanks again for, you know… finding me. Seriously. Thank you.” I wanted to make sure he knew how much it meant. It wasn't just about being found, it was him, Sylas, who had played a big role in it.He just gave a slight nod, that kind that tells you he’s not one for big speeches. “It is my duty. To protect all lycans. Especially you, Emmeline. Of course, I would do it again. It is my job, after all.”Okay, th

  • Sold To The Feral Alpha   CHAPTER EIGHTY-FIVE

EMMELINE☆☆☆☆☆☆When my eyes finally fluttered open, the first thing that hit me wasn't the light, or any pain, but the complete and utter silence. It was… different. Not like that silence, you know? The kind that used to press down on me, suffocate me while I was trapped in Michael’s dungeon. Nope, this was a peaceful quiet. A quiet that whispered, “It’s over, Em. The crazy is done.” The war… yeah, the war was really done. It still felt kinda unreal, like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, for some new nightmare to start. But for now, just quiet.I shifted a little under the soft sheets, and my body groaned in protest. Man, I was still so damn sore. Felt like I’d been run over by a cartload of bricks, not just, you know, everything. But even with the aches, it wasn’t a bad sore. It was like… my body was just tired from fighting, from surviving. A strong arm suddenly snaked around my waist, pulling me back against a warm, solid chest. Darius. Of course.“You’re awake,” he mur

EMMELINE’S POV☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆Oh Moon Goddess, this is getting seriously messed up. I scrambled back, doing this weird crab walk thing as I crawled away from Darius and Michael who were going at it like wild dogs. My heart was hammering in my chest like a damn drum solo. Dust and dirt were flying everywhere, and I could hear the grunts and the clangs of their blades. I felt useless, just huddled there while they were practically trying to kill each other. My eyes darted around, searching for… I don't know, anything? Something to help? My fingers brushed against something hard and sharp on the ground. Yes! My hand closed around a rock, jagged and rough. It wasn't much, but it was better than freaking nothing. My hand was shaking so bad I almost dropped the damn thing. "Come on, Emmeline, get it together," I whispered to myself, even though I felt like I was about to lose my lunch right then and there. Then, bam! Michael, that psycho, he slammed Darius down. My breath hitched. Darius wa

What the hell was happening now?For a second, confusion clouded my mind…had I imagined it? But then another shot rang out, followed by shouting.Michael cursed under his breath. The slimy bastard jumped to his feet and rushed to the door. “Stay here,” he ordered, though it was clear he meant it for his gorilla-sized guards, not me.But even through the fear, something else struck me like a jolt of lightning. Darius. It had to be him. Who else would be crazy enough…or brave enough, to come barging in here with guns blazing? My breath hitched. Darius was here.A spark of hope ignited in my chest. Hope, mixed with an exhausted but undeniable, ‘Are you kidding me?’“Do not take your eyes off her,” Michael barked before slipping out, slamming the door behind him.He thought I wouldn’t try to escape? He underestimated
