Chapter Seven

AVERY

It took some minutes before we finally stopped in front of a suite. The maid opened the door for me, and I walked in while she followed behind.

My eyes landed on the Princess Lisa who was sitting on a couch with her legs crossed, she had a glass in her hand which she sipped from. She was the lady from yesterday...so she is the Alpha's girlfriend. No wonder she looked angry when she saw us in that position.

She smirked when she saw me. She dropped the glass of wine then stood up, walking to me.

"The sl*t is here." She said, taking her hand to my hair. I bit my lip as she grabbed a strand of it, she rolled it on her fingers before drawing on it harshly.

"Ouch!"

She chuckled, bringing her face closer to mine, her face turning cold.

"Who is Alpha Jared to you?" She asked.

"What? I don't.. understand." I muttered in confusion.

"You don't or you are just pretending?" She asked again, and I sighed.
