I watched as she froze in her spot, making me scoff. Did she really think I was going to go let her be?

In her dreams.

I took a step closer, but she retreated backward, eliciting an annoyed groan from me.I'm really not in the mood for this. I need to fuck someone right now and I will end up forcing myself on her if she keeps on acting this way. I really don't mind.

"I.." she made to talk but I sped towards her, grabbing her waist and pulling her to myself. Her soft boobs landed softly my chest. My gaze drifted to her lips and I immediately smashed my lips on it.

Darn it, for some reason I have no idea of, I've developed a thing for her lips, but the problem is, she's not exactly the best kisser, and she's always so hesitant to open up. But that all changed when I gently bit her lower lip. She gasped, and I took advantage of the moment to slide my tongue in, exploring the corners of her mouth and savoring her sweet taste - like strawberries.

I kissed her for two minutes straight before pulling out, her mouth wide open as she tried gasping for breath, but I didn't let her cause I captured her lips again and this time, she reciprocated without hesitation. My hands slid down to her plump ass, squeezing it lightly.

"Hmm." A smirk appeared on the corner of my lips when a moan escaped her lips. Hastily, took my hand to one of her boobs, my fingers grazing slightly on her nipple. I could feel her shiver in my arms making me smirk. I thought she didn't want this.

"Let's get to the bedroom, flower." Whispering into the kiss she froze, but I spanked her ass, and she moaned out. Women would always be bitches.

"What the hell is going on here?" Lisa's voice cut through the moment, snapping me out of the kiss. I turned to see her standing in the doorway, her eyes blazing with anger as she glared at Avery, who was now avoiding eye contact.

"You are here." Mumbling, I let go of Avery's waist.

"Get out!" Lisa yelled at her, and she immediately rushed out.

"What was she doing here? And why were you kissing her?" Lisa asked.

I let out a deep sigh, sauntering to the cellar. I poured myself a glass of wine before returning to the couch and settling in.

"Aren't you going to explain yourself?" She asked again.

"Why should I do that? She is my slave, so why can't I kiss her?" I furrowed my brows, taking the glass to my lips.

"What?" she scoffed. "Is it because she is your mate?"

I stopped drinking immediately, my gaze drifting to her. How did she know? It seems like she knew what I was thinking cause she spoke up right away.

"I know she is your mate because I overheard you telling Martin about it. Are you going to leave me for her?" She frowned, and I groaned. "Of course not. I'm not even planning to acknowledge her. Besides, she doesn't even know I'm her mate."

"You expect me to believe that?" She scoffed.

"Your choice." I shrugged and chugged down the rest of the wine before dropping the glass on the table.

I stood up and made to go to the room, but she grabbed my hand, her eyes searching mine. "You are really not going to leave me for her, are you?"

I smiled at the anxious look on her face before responding.."Of course, I won't leave you for that weak thing. I am only keeping her for the sex, okay?"

Her face relaxed and she sighed out. "I was scared you would leave me for her," she muttered with pouted lips.

"Don't worry, I assure you that your position is secure.”

She let out a playful giggle, her eyes darting to my pants before locking back onto mine.

"How about you have fun with me instead?" She whispered in a seductive voice.

I smiled, tempted but I'm suddenly not in the mood anymore. I need to sleep.

"I'm tired. See you tomorrow." I tapped her cheek twice before making my way into the room.

I heard her leave the suite as I took off my shirt, and pants. I went into the bathroom and into the bathtub. Relaxing my body, I closed my eyes, letting my thoughts wander, from the pack issues to Audrey.

I still couldn't believe the moon goddess decided to make her my mate. She is so weak that she couldn't even recognize me as her mate, though I'm grateful for that. I won't have to go through the stress of rejecting her.

Either way, I can't possibly rule the pack with that weak thing. Lisa is by far better than her. I should really make her my Luna soon

I soaked in the bathtub for a bit, before I finally came out. I grabbed a towel from the rack, wiping my body dry before wrapping the towel around my body and heading out of the bathroom.

I made my way into the dressing room and opened the closet, searching for what to wear - mostly black with and a few red. Those are the colours I prefer, so I only wear them. Picking up a black t-shirt and black free pants, I put it on and left the room for my bed.

I closed my eyes to sleep, but I just couldn't. I suddenly didn't feel sleepy anymore, which was kind of weird cause I was feeling tired some minutes ago. Maybe I should go for a run.

I connected with Mavis through the mind link. *Wanna go for a run?*

*No. Go to sleep.* His reply came and I scoffed.

*Get here right now.* I ordered and blocked him before getting out of the bed. I walked out of the room and was about leaving the suite when I saw the food on the dining table. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the suite.

"Get rid of the food inside." I ordered Garvey, walking out of the building. My eyes landed on Mavis afar who was walking towards me with a frown on his face, making me chuckle.

"Why do you suddenly want to go for a run?" He asked gruffly as he got to me, and I smiled. "I can't sleep."

"But – "

"Come on." I cut him off and changed into my wolf form - Thadeus.

Taking my eyes to Mavis, I watched as he sighed before also changing into his wolf form, Leo.

"Let's go!" Shouting, the both of us sped off, out of the pack house and into the woods.

I turned to Mavis, and he let out a sigh before transforming into his wolf form - Leo.

"Let's go!" I yelled, and we both took off, racing out of the pack house and into the woods, our paws pounding the earth in unison.
