Alison's Pov.

Theo had given me all the necessary instructions on what I should do.

I pulled away quickly and rushed back into my room. It was time to act.

Slipping into the tiniest, most revealing dress I owned—a silky black one that hugged every one of my curves—I let my hair down and smeared on a glossy red lipstick. I grabbed the tiny vial Theo had given me and poured the strange, glittery liquid into the stew I had prepared.

What the hell did I drink last night?Groaning, I stretched my hand toward the warm body lying beside me.“Lena… you’re so good,” I murmured, my voice thick with sleep, slipping my hand between the softness of her chest—And then I froze. That scent wasn’t Lena. It was so unnatural. My eyes shot open, and I jerked up just to see Alison lying beside me.“What the hell?!” I shouted, scrambling back on the bed.Alison blinked at me slowly, her lashes fluttering as she stirred awake like she had no care in the world. She smiled lazily. “Good morning, Alpha,” she purred, reaching for me again. “Come back to sleep. You loved what we did last night…”“What?!” I nearly gagged. “Are you insane? What the hell are you doing here?!”She pouted. “Don’t be so cold. You were all over me, remember? You said my name like a thousand times.”I shoved her hand

Damian's Pov I flung the door open as I focused my gaze on Lena. She was sitting on the floor, her knees pulled to her chest, her hair messy. Her dress was wrinkled, and there was a bruise on her arm.She must have sustained it after having a tough fight with the guards I sent to pick her up.As soon as she looked up and saw me, she let out a deep, tired sigh. That sound stung more than I expected.I stepped inside, closing the door softly behind me. “Why are you sighing like that?” I asked, keeping my voice calm. She scoffed, shaking her head as she looked away from me. “I thought someone had finally come to save me,” she said bitterly. “But it turns out it’s the same evil person who sold me in the first place and then brought me back here...”I chuckled softly. “Lena…”“Don’t,” she snapped. “Don’t say my name like you still have the right to.”The silence stretched between us. She didn’t look at me again. She just sat there like she had nothing left in her.I turned toward the doo

  • Sold To My Second-Chance Mate   Chapter One

Lena’s POVTonight was supposed to be a night of triumph. A night where I stood beside my mate, the man the Moon Goddess had fated me to, as he ascended to his rightful place as Alpha. Instead, I stood at the edge of the grand ballroom, my hands clenched at my sides, my throat tight with humiliation. The hall was dazzling, chandeliers bathed the room in warm light, casting a golden glow over the guests who laughed, drank, and celebrated. It should have been a perfect night. But the moment my husband stepped onto the stage, the atmosphere stirred.Damian looked every bit the Alpha in his tailored black suit, his piercing green eyes sweeping over the crowd with authority. His presence commanded attention, his dark hair perfectly styled, his lips curled in a smirk that made the she-wolves in the room sigh in admiration. And yet, despite being his Luna, the woman who had stood by his side through blood and sacrifice, he hadn’t even looked at me.I swallowed past the lump in my throat as a

My heart pounded, and panic clawed at my chest.Damian stood a few feet away, his gaze as cold and unreadable as ever. The man I had once believed was my fated mate, now looked at me with nothing but indifference. He exhaled slowly, rubbing his temples as if I were nothing more than a nuisance. “Don’t make this harder than it has to be, Lena.”“Harder?” My breath hitched. What the hell was he talking about?I jerked against the gammas’ hold, but their fingers dug into my arms. “Let me go! What’s happening?”Damian’s jaw clenched, but he didn’t move to stop them. Instead, he tilted his head toward the looming figure beside him. A man I hadn’t even noticed in my panic. The man exuded an aura so commanding that the air in the room seemed to tremble around him. Kyler's Pov“Going somewhere, little wolf?” My voice cut through the silence, making her freeze. For a moment, she didn’t move. Then, slowly, she turned to face me, her breath unsteady, her dark eyes locking onto mine. She didn’t look afraid. If anything, she looked defiant.“Does it matter to you?" she asked, her voice steady.I didn’t answer right away. Instead, I just smiled, because, for the first time, I couldn't deny the fact that Lena was ethereal. The way her dark hair spilled over her shoulders, wild and unkempt, and her lips were slightly parted as if she was daring me to stop her made my wolf restless.I shook my head, regaining defiance.I was an Alpha, and I shouldn't be moved by beauty. If it was about beauty, then she wouldn't stand a chance with Alison or other she-wolves in the pack. She was here on a duty and that was to bear me pups owing to the prophecy. And as for the mate bond, that was just a cruel joke. She definitely can't be my mate, a divorced Luna?Hell,

I had always hated people messing up my orders, and I never believed Leonard could be one of them.I had trusted him to be competent and trustworthy in keeping to instructions, but he had just done the opposite.“I asked you to deliver a simple letter to her telling her how much I missed her, but you went ahead to do what you saw fit.”“Hitting her hard and making her go unconscious. My fists throbbed from the last punch I landed on him, but I didn’t care. Not when Lena was suffering.I slammed the newsletter into his chest so hard it made him stumble. “Read it! Go on—READ what the pack is saying!”He opened it with shaking hands. His eyes scanned the front page, the bold headline like
