73~ Feeling His Pain

SKYLAR'S P.O.V

I thought I was dreaming when I started feeling pain in my chest. But I realized it wasn't a dream as the pain silently increased.

I wondered why I was feeling this pain for no reason, and I could feel the pain on my cheek like someone had just punched my face.

All the maids were eating at the dining. Not the royal dining room, don't get me wrong. We were all having a very fascinating conversation for the first time in weeks. I wasn't paying attention as I tried to subside the pain I was feeling.

At first, I thought it was the fever rising again, but when the pain seemed to increase only in some parts, it was something else.

"Are you alright?" Roselle asked, touching my hand.

"Uhm... I'm not sure. I feel kinda strange inside."

"Strange like?"

I sighed. "I don't know."

"You all have to hurry up, the Alpha King is on his way back home." Mrs Marie notified. Then she looked at me, "I'm specifically talking to you, Skylar."

I ate my food, trying to ignore Roselle's concern
