I sat alone in my office, deliberately isolating myself from any disturbances. But tried as I might, I couldn't shake the cloud of thoughts that kept roaming in my mind.

The image of Skylar and Dimitri locking lips replayed in my head, taunting me relentlessly. I couldn't help but feel a tight knot of jealousy and envy as I watched them embrace each other.

It pained me to witness their heartfelt confession of love, and their promises to stand by each other no matter what, regardless of the circumstances.

It was an inexplicable feeling for me. I found myself struggling in between emotions, unable to fully comprehend why their moments together stirred such strong emotions within me.

I couldn't deny that their connection felt genuine, their love for each other shining through every word they spoke and every action they made.

I had so much tried to care less about her and everything she does. I thought their meeting was just a minor meeting like she had said, it didn't oc
