Blood gushed from his forehead, blinding his vision, but he didn't stop and howled like a wild beast.

I know that if I don't kill John today, there's no way out of here. I rolled up my arms, pounding his stomach with all my strength. John shoved me off; I staggered but didn't fall.

I don't know when John appeared in his hand a small pistol; he pointed at my head and laughed like a bloodthirsty devil. "No one has ever hurt me so badly; you are such a special girl. I must have you at all costs, Kelsey; you must be mine."

I trembled slightly at the black muzzle of the gun; I had witnessed its terrible power when Brian used it to hit the wolves. No matter how fast my speed is, it's not as fast as the speed of bullets, and I'm at a disadvantage for a moment.

Seeing me standing still, John was delighted; he spat out a mouthful of saliva mixed with blood and then laughed in horror. "Serve me obediently, I will ignore everything you have done so far, and if you resist, your head will explode.
