CAIN
Of course Thea just happened to be the daughter of the man I hated with every cell of my body. The man who gave me every reason to hate him. The man I had been trying to get my hands on since two years ago but that was fine. There was something about waiting to finally have my revenge which made things somewhat sweet. There was a phrase which went like 'The longer the wait, the tastier the meal' or something along the lines and I believed that.
Killian Hart, the richest businessman in the world after my mother, of course. My mother, Juliette was an amazing businesswoman. It was hard to surpass her. After my father died, she took over the family business on her own and like my father did, she kept it first on the list, kept our title of being the number one richest family in the whole world all on her own and nothing made me prouder. I respected the woman, and loved her more and more everyday. She took care of me all on her own, gave me everything I needed but nothing could replace the love of my father. I missed him and so did she. When he was taken away from us, we were devastated. I started despising god that day for taking my father away, for making a thirteen year old kid go through something like that, for hurting my mother but as I grew up, I realized god had nothing to do with the death of my father. The person responsible for the death of my father was none other than Killian Hart.
I became an assassin at fourteen years old to find my father's murderer. I was ruthless and a cold blooded killer and every famous businessman knew of my existence except for my identity. That had to remain private, a secret known to only me and my friends. We had all murdered someone at some point, that was the reason we got along so well. Those children we saved, they were being shipped for money by another well known businessman named Henry Pete, yet another asshole, you'd say.
Since the day my father died, I made a promise to myself that I would not rest until the one responsible was found. I had suspected for a while that the one responsible had to be one of the many businessmen out there. My father had a lot of rivals, he was never safe- my mother's words. After months of looking for dots to connect my father's murder to other businessman, to the deals they made, I finally found a name. Killian Hart. So I dug. I looked for everything I could find on him, and I realized that he was with my father the night he died. He had been in the same country, same city and at the same damned time. It couldn't have been a coincidence. I was quite certain that he was the one responsible for his death.
When his name had been placed in front of me, along with the rest of the information about him, I wanted nothing more than to find him and make him pay for what he did. But like every other famous businessman, he was untouchable. Or at least, that was the picture he painted before he sent his daughter to a school which I attended as well. I wasn't the kind of person who'd use an innocent person for my own gain but this time, I did not really have a choice. An opportunity like this one was rare, and it was literally placed in front of me. I would be a fool not to make the most of it.
However, his daughter wasn't innocent either. Surely, she knew of her father's job, how he was and given the information I had read on them, they were the perfect family. They had the perfect reputation, the perfect relationship with each other. Killian Hart had some nerves, ruining my life, taking my father away from me while he lived his perfect life with his family. But that wasn't going to last. I was not going to let it last. First, I'll take his daughter from him, ruin his reputation by using her, then I'll destroy his business and hurt him. When he will beg for his life back, for his reputation, for his precious daughter, only then shall I end his life.
I shall stand there and watch as the life drains out of him, slowly but surely. I had been planning this man's downfall for years and nothing would stop me from doing that. I would make him suffer for what he did.
After english class ended, I joined the rest of the guys in the cafeteria considering it was lunch time. I knew Thea was going to come here with her new friend, Penelope Bryce. I had heard of her but never bothered to speak to her. I hardly spoke with other students, only when it was necessary. And Thea was someone I needed to speak with in order to get her to like me but I had a feeling it was going to be damn hard given the fact that she rejected my kind offer earlier- something no girl had ever dared to do. I actually admired her for that, not that I'd admit it to anyone.
"Thea Hart, huh?" Aiden started, "Words travel fast. I don't know how I didn't notice her. Her pictures are like... everywhere." He took out his phone and showed us a picture of Thea taken about a month ago. "Oh, she changed hair color."
I didn't know how I failed to notice her either. I should have known it was Thea Hart the second I laid eyes on her but she never really interested me like her father did. Maybe I never really looked at her that well, never studied her like I studied her father, because if I did, then there was no way I'd have missed such a beauty. Different hair color or not.
Unlike Rowan, my other friends weren't aware of my hatred towards Killian Hart. Rowan was my closest friend and that was the reason he knew more about me than the rest. But sometimes, I regretted telling him shit given his habit of spilling out secrets whenever he'd get drunk and that was something he did quite often.
We sat at the back of the cafeteria, our table giving us the view of the entire place, we had our eyes on everyone who entered, stayed and left. We couldn't miss anything from here. So when Thea and her friend entered the cafeteria, I did not miss the way she smiled at something Penelope said as they made their way to the queue, waiting to be served. I could have helped her get served first but I doubted she'd like it after what happened in class earlier. I smirked, knowing that the girl had a beast inside of her and I was more than happy to take the task of taming the beast.
"She looks nice, doesn't she?" Seb asked, his gaze fixed on Thea as she continued smiling at Penelope. "So beautiful."
"Seb." I snapped his attention away from Thea to me instead. "I don't think Elise will be happy if she hears you're calling another girl beautiful."
He rolled his eyes but didn't speak again when Aiden said, "Wanna bet for whom she'll open her legs first for?"
"Me, of course." Rowan smirked.
"I bet if I ask her to accompany me to the bathroom right now, she won't hesitate to get on her knees for me." Aiden leaned against his chair, his eyes fixed on Thea as she walked towards a table. The thought of Thea on her knees for me almost made me groan. I did not want her to be on her knees for anyone else but me. I had to break her and use her to get to her father and my friends' involvement would not make things easy.
"Please." Seb scoffed, a smirk tugging on his lips. "She'll beg me to fuck her."
Their words were starting to piss me off. I knew they would try to do everything they just stated they would like to do to her but I was not going to let that happen. "None of you will lay a hand on her. She's mine." No one dared to speak a word regarding her afterwards. They knew better than to argue with me, probably thinking that I just wanted a good fuck. But it wasn't the case. It was much more serious than that and when Rowan nodded at me, I knew he understood.
Chapter 1.THEASmile at the cameras, pose for the pictures, pretend for the media, keep the family's reputation safe- The only words which ever left my mother's mouth since I had been born. My mother was hell bent on keeping the family reputation perfect for her own selfish reasons. Pretend like we were the happy family the whole world thought us to be- only, we were far from being perfect.A week ago, my father had been asked to move to a new town for his work and him moving meant us moving whether we liked it or not. Wherever he went, we followed. My parents did not care about our thoughts on the constant hopping from country to country, town to town, continent to continent. If they were to go stay on mars, we'd had no choice but follow even if it meant dying there."The new school here is awesome from what I have heard." My mother's voice was muffled because of the muffin she just stuffed in her mouth. "You'll fit right in." That was what she always said. Just like the last three
After waving Peter goodbye, I took a deep breath before entering the school. The guard greeted me, smiling in a friendly way. I wasn't going to lie, this helped calm my nerves down. If everyone was going to be this friendly, i'd have no trouble to 'fit in'.The hallway wasn't packed with students which was amazing to say the least. I did not need the eyes on me, following my every movement just because I was the new student, or their new 'target' for the year. I was not going to let myself get bullied. Bullying was something I had always been completely against. I could stand up for myself just fine even though sometimes I lack the courage. The few students who were in the hallway, against their lockers did not even notice me which I was grateful for. I quietly made my way to the principal's office which wasn't hard to find at all given the huge 'principal's office' written in bold above the brown door at the end of the hallway.I knocked once, twice, then heard a 'come in'. I opened

I faked my concerning tone, twirling the knife around my fingers as I waited for his answer."Please, bro. Let me go." He pleaded. His eyes switching to the knife in my hands and to my face. "I did nothing wrong."I clicked my tongue, "I don't like liars, Oliver."His eyes widened. "Im not lying, bro. Please. I really don't know anything about the children.""Do you see those men on the chairs behind me, Oliver?" I asked, walking to stand behind him so that he could have a better view. "Do you know why they are so silent and unmoving?""They're dead." He stated."Are you sure about that? After all, you can only see the back of their heads, can't you? How can you make such an assumption?""I... they're not moving or talking." He stuttered, earning a chuckle from me."Let's see if they're dead or aliv
THEAPenelope and I had the same class after science and she offered to walk together to class which I was grateful for. I did not want to get lost on my first day and entering the class late for everyone to look at me again. We took the seat at the back, near the windows as we were the first ones to enter. The students started coming in one by one, occupying almost all the seats available."Good morning, class." The teacher, a man who looked like he just ran all the way here spoke as he took his seat behind his desk, still trying to catch his breath. "I'm Mr Smith. Your english teacher.""Now, is this everyone?" He asked, looking at the students. I noticed two empty seats beside me at the back, the teacher probably noticed it as well- hence the question."Nope." A deep a voice spoke at the door. I quickly averted from my eyes from the empty seats to the source of the voice and a small gasp left my lips at the sight. A guy stood in front of the door, entering the classroom. He was dre
