Chapter 3

Kenzo was the first to reach the door of Abstract Worx and when he saw the front door, he raised his brows. Kairo, Kylo, and Buster were right behind him and they all smiled when they saw bouquets of flowers at the door. Yara furrowed her forehead when she saw that her four bosses were still standing outside.

"Looks like our new secretary already gained admirers from the start of her fisrt day." Kairo said and looked back behind them where Yara is still standing, waiting for her bosses to come in. "Yeah, I think, we need to remind them that before they could court Yara, they need to pass through us." Kylo said that made Kairo and Buster smiled.

Kenzo got a card and read it. "Welcome, Miss Cinderella. Hope we could be friends." The message said and it was from the law firm. Kenzo picked another card. "You're so beautiful. Let's have dinner together one of this days." The card came from the medical clinic. Kenzo crumpled the card. "Show-offs!" He said to himself.

"Throw them!" Kenzo said that made his three friends looked at each other meaningfully. "Bro, it's not for you, it's for Yara and she has to decide whether to keep it or throw it." Buster said but kept quiet when he saw Kenzo looking at him with narrowed eyes. Buster raised his hand as if surrendering. Kenzo had a great temper and Buster doesn't want to have a misunderstanding with his friend.

Yara moved and she picked the bouquets of flowers to avoid controversy around the building. After throwing the flowers on the trash bin, she followed her bosses inside the office.

There were four rooms inside, each of her bosses had their own room. It's kinda small but well-organized. They were all men but the room is clean and the color of the walls is refreshing. There's a waiting area for the clients, a mini kitchen, a comfort room, and the space for her where a table and a chair were placed.

Kairo went out of his room and walked towards Yara. "Here, this is yours. I already put all the informations you needed. Our clients, suppliers, schedules, etc. etc." Kairo said handling a tablet to Yara. "All our records were on Kenzo's office. Just ask me if you need anything." Kairo said smiling. "Thank you, Sir Kairo." Yara said and Kairo nodded and went back to his room.

Kylo went out holding a document on his hand. "Yara can you look on the date when we purchased these supplies. The client is asking for it because he lost his copy." Kylo said. "Ok, Sir Kylo." Yara said and walked towards Kenzo's room. Kylo smiled.

Yara knocked and when she heard "Come in" from the inside, she went in. Kenzo is talking to someone but he saw when Yara came in, he furrowed his forehead. Yara immediately saw the record section and hurriedly search for the file Kylo is looking for. She's not comfortable coming to this room. She felt that she was being observed by the man behind him.

Kenzo, though talking to someone else, his eyes were glued on Yara. "Her skirt is too short, her blouse is too tight. Did she wore those intentionally to get attention from guys!?" Kenzo said to himself. "Sir?" The person on the other line called Kenzo's attention. "Oh, I'm sorry, I got distracted. Please continue." Kenzo said. "As I was saying, Sir..." The person on the phone continued explaining.

When Yara saw the file, she immediately went out. Kenzo raised his brow. "She didn't saw me? What does she think of me?" Kenzo said that the person he was talking heard it. "Sir? What did you say?" The person asked. "Call you later, that little witch is distracting me." Kenzo said and ended the call.

The person Kenzo was talking to creased his forehead. "Little witch!? Who is it? It's the first time the boss was distracted big time." He said and smiled naughtily. "I should meet that "little witch." He said with an idea in mind.

After giving the file to Kylo, Yara went back to her table. After few minutes, Buster went out from his room, walking towards Yara's table. "Miss Yara." Buster said. "Yes, Sir Buster." Yara said and stood up. "Kindly search for the OR number of this receipt. I need to double check it with the bank later." Buster said. Yara nodded and again walked towards Kenzo's room. She didn't see the naughty smile of Buster.

Again, she knocked and came in when she heard Kenzo's voice. Kenzo creased his forehead when Yara didn't say anything to him again and directly went to the record section.

After finding the receipt, Yara immediately walked towards the door but before she could open it, Kenzo spoke.

"Are you blind?" Kenzo asked. "Sir?" Yara asked innocently. Kenzo raised his brow. "It's the second time you came in to my room and yet you're not saying anything to me. Am I a furniture here?" Kenzo said sarcastically. Yara blushed. Because of her awkwardness, she forgot to pay respect to her boss.

"I'm sorry, Sir, it won't happen again." Yara said and bowed. Kenzo felt her sincerity and accepted the apology. "By the way, tomorrow, please wear more comfortable clothes." Kenzo said looking at Yara's short skirt. Yara furrowed her forehead. "But, Sir, all may office attires are like this and I'm comfortable with it." Yara said that made Kenzo raised his brows.

"Are you defying the rules and regulations of my office?" Kenzo asked with narrowed eyes. "No, Sir, I'm sorry, Sir." Yara said apologetically but deep inside her, she's really annoyed with the man infront of him. "Good! Tomorrow, I don't want to see those clothes again. Understood?" Kenzo said. "Yes, Sir." Yara said and went outside with irritation all over her face.

Yara gave the receipt to Buster. The latter saw the different aura of Yara and he's sure that something happened between Yara and Kenzo. "Is there something wrong?" Buster asked smiling. Yara sighed. "Sir, is there anything wrong with my clothes?" Yara asked. Buster looked at her and shaked his head for a NO. "Then, why, Mr. Kenzo Vasquez is asking me to change my clothes tomorrow? I don't have any other clothes except for skirts and pants but I can't wear pants here because this is a firm." Yara said irritably. Buster smiled. "Ok, don't worry, I'll talk to him." Buster said that made Yara smiled. "Thank you, Sir Buster." Yara said. "No worries, go back to your table. Buster said and Yara nodded.

"It's her first day and you're already getting into her nerves." Buster said. "Me?" Kenzo asked innocently. "Yeah, bro." Buster said. "What did I do?" Kenzo asked. "Her clothes are fine. Why do you have to let her change into another set of clothes?" Buster asked. "Can't you see, her skirt is too short showing her skin. Her blouse is too tight showing her curves. She's here to work and not to become a model." Kenzo said that made Buster laughed.

"What's funny?" Kenzo asked. "You, because you're acting like a jealous boyfriend." Buster said. Kenzo became speechless. Buster shaked his head. "Bro, just a reminder, you're already taken. Yara is our Secretary and she's not someone who has a special relationship with you." Buster said and went out. Kenzo was left inside thinking of what his friend have said.
