Chapter 2

It's Monday, Emma woke up early to cook breakfast for her daughter and grandchild. School for Dream and work for Yara.

Yara woke up next and after washing up, she walked towards Dream's room. "Good morning, Big Sister. Please guide Dream to her school and of course me, to my work." Yara said talking to the picture of her sister.

Yvette and Yara were opposite poles. One is conservative and the other one is vulgar. Yara is a homebody while Yvette likes to go out with her friends. Yara is humble while Yvette is boastful. But, though, they have their differences, their love for each other didn't change. Yvette is a good sister to Yara. Not a perfect daughter but, didn't forgot to respect her mother.

When Yvette got pregnant, Emma didn't got angry but instead, she hugged her daughter and said, "Be a good mother to your child." They supported and take good care of each other until Yvette's delivery. Sadly, she didn't made it.

"Sweety, wake up, it's time for your school." Yara said and kiss Dream's forehead. Dream opened her eyes and hugged Yara that made the latter smiled. "What do you want?" Yara asked hugging back her niece.

Everytime Dream will do sweet things for her like hugging and kissing, this means that she wants something from her.

"It's Sky's birthday today and she invited us to go to their house. Her mom will fetch us back and forth from school and to our houses. Can I go, please?" Dream said while giving little kisses to her aunt. Yara smiled. "But?" Yara said. "Yes! I will do my assignments and homeworks after." Dream said and Yara nodded. Dream excitedly went to the CR to wash up and happily ate her breakfast.

The three women left the house, Emma going to their grocery store slash eatery while Yara and Dream got a cab. Because Dream's school is along the way to Abstract Worx, Yara will drop her niece first then she will proceed to her new office.

Kairo, Kylo, and Buster met at the coffee shop on the third floor of the building they are renting. It became a tradition for them that before going to their office upstairs, they will drink coffee for energy. Kenzo will be late because he will be closing a deal to one of their client who's planning to build a mall.

The building where Abstract Worx is located had six floors and an underground parking. On the first floor there's a pharmacy and a medical supplies. On the second floor, there are medical clinics. On the third floor is a law firm. On the fourth floor are dorms for bed spacers who are working around the area. Abstract Worx is on the fifth floor. The sixth is an empty space and for lease and Kenzo is planning to rent it for his small haven.

Until now, eventhough, he's already an adult, he's still staying at their old house with his parents and little sister. His mother, Olivia, doesn't want him to be in another place, unless, he's married. His father, Lucas, doesn't contradict his mother to avoid long discussions. His little sister, Sky, is a blessing for them. His parents weren't expecting her but Heaven gave her to them.

Yara reached Abstract Worx. She paid the cab and went out of the car. She breathed deeply trying to calm herself. "I can do this!" She said to herself and walked towards the building's entrance.

When the elevator stopped on the third floor, Kairo, Kylo, and Buster went in. Because Yara is looking down, she didn't saw her new bosses. The elevator stopped on the fifth floor. The three men went out and Yara followed. Kairo looked back and smiled when he saw Yara.

"Yara!" Kairo called that made Kylo and Buster looked back. Kylo also smiled but Buster furrowed his forehead. During the interview and selection of their new secretary, Kenzo and Buster were out of town. They went to their client who's going to build a vacation house on the province. Kairo was only the one who oriented Yara last Saturday.

"Good morning, Sir Kairo, Sir Kylo, and Sir?" Yara awkwardly said because she doesn't know Buster. "He's Buster Diaz. He's the best interior designer in town." Kairo said introducing his friend to Yara. "Good

morning, Sir Buster.

They all looked back when the elevator opened. The three men smiled when they saw Kenzo coming out and told Yara that he will be her new boss. Yara was shocked.

"It's been 10 years now but he's still handsome. He's only more mature now but it doesn't affect his gorgeousness. Big sister, the jerk who got you pregnant is my new boss? Why's destiny playing with me. I prayed not to see him again but now, I will be with him. Oh, good Lord. Should I resign immediately? But, it's my first day. Help me, Big Sister..." Yara said to herself.

Kenzo was expecting to see Yara today. He thought that he's finally ready to face her but when he saw the beautiful face of the girl, he can't stop his heart from beating fast. At first, he can see the shock all over her face but why it suddenly changed into anger.

Kenzo went out from the elevator and walked towards his friends not removing his eyes from Yara.

Yara saw something from Kenzo's eyes but it faded away quickly so she doesn't know how to name it. She just looked down because she felt she's an experiment under his dissection.

Kenzo made a handshake to his friends that only the four of them knew. Kenzo looked again to Yara. "So, Ms. Yara Gomez." Kenzo said and Yara raised her head a saw the killer smile of the man. "Please, don't smile at me like that!" Yara said to herself.

"Yes, Sir Kenzo Vasquez?" Yara said and Kenzo felt that there's a sarcasm included in her words. Kairo, Kylo, and Buster raised their brows and looked at each other.

"Welcome to Abstract Worx. I hope you can do your best and proved that my friends have done a good decision in hiring you." Kenzo said with sarcasm in his words too.

Yara stopped herself from punching the man infront of her. "Yes, Sir Kenzo Vasquez,  I will do everything to please you." Yara said but when she thought of her sentence, she blushed. Kenzo smiled. "Really?" Kenzo asked and moved closer to Yara that made the latter step back but she tripped.

Yara was expecting to fall on the white tiles but Kenzo's arms became her lifeline. Kenzo's arms were encircling Yara's waist. They both looked at each other. Kylo cleared his throat that made Yara pushed Kenzo and stood still.

"Let's get inside, we have a lot of things to do." Kenzo said. Kairo, Kylo, and Buster are smiling because they saw Kenzo's red ears. It means that their friend became stimulated. The last time they saw his secret red ears was when they entered a bar wherein a girl purposely held Kenzo's little baby. Even when Kenzo is with his girlfriend, they failed to see that but now..., they think this Yara will be a big problem for their bro.
