Hannah’s threats were real. He went back to the dinner although she knew that she was probably anxious and his beasts were itching to take over and go to their mate. Although Hannah wasn’t his fated mate, he and his beast claimed her as their mate.

He sat down as Ines was puzzled.

“Where’s Hannah?” Ines asked but then Reid was silent as he raised his hand.

“Bring me a whiskey on the rock.” He told the staff.

“Reid, it’s too early for that,” Evelyn said as Reid stared at his mother right into her eyes.

“Ella,” Reid called Ella without breaking an eye contact. “What would you like to do once you have recovered?” He asked. “Have you thought about it?”

Ella nodded.

“Thank you for letting me stay in a luxury unit.”

“The most luxurious one is either in the penthouse or down the penthouse.” She said, “I set up the room just below the penthouse but the tenant doesn't want to leave.”
