Hannah couldn’t eat or drink. It felt like her stomach was twisted into knots. Anxiety? No, this is something. Every time she felt like this, her heart also felt a little tight. Her chest was racing and she knew that something bad would happen or probably happen.

Reid hasn’t called her yet and it’s already nighttime. He hasn’t visited. She exhaled slowly and that’s when the doorbell rang. She headed to the door quickly as it might be Reid but she was curious why Reid didn’t enter casually like he used to.

She froze when it was the staff of the residence.

“H~Hi.” She smiled as they also had an awkward smile.

“Miss Hannah, we prepared a new unit for you.”

She was speechless.

“Huh?”

“It’s still spacious and has two bedrooms. We are here to help you move out.”

She looked at her cats in the other room, playing. They seemed to love the place now, but it’s not hers. She felt more nervous as she didn't know what was going on.

“Someone moving in?” She asked. They were silent as she sm

Reid quickly went to the residence and roared at the staff to put everything that Hannah owned to where it was taken. He asked them who did it. Then, Secretary Eunice stepped forward. She was silent. “Did my mother tell you to do this?” “Yes,” She said. “No one messes up my arrangements, Eunice. Not even my mother.” His voice was low. “Now, what else?” He dismissed them. “Alpha, your mother is worried. Also, she’s arranging the unit, especially for the candidates.” “What fucking candidates?” He remained calm. “Luna. The position of Luna.” The woman tried hard not to shudder in front of the Alpha but she stood her ground.Reid scoffed and shook his head. “Tell my mother that I don’t want her commanding the staff to take out my mate’s things from her unit.” He said in a low voice. “Do you understand me?” He exclaimed. He sighed as he only left for a few hours. And now, it’s early in the morning. He headed to the penthouse to bathe, and then he drove directly to the place where th

Reid drove off leaving the house. He felt so pissed that Hannah would just throw off their relationship because of his mother. He understood that Hannah felt insecure and his mother might have said things to her. He almost exceeded the speed limit as he slowed down and stopped in front of the Red traffic light. He sighed as he looked at the spare helmet that he brought with him. He exhaled and when the stop light turned green, he turned around and stopped by the flower shop and bought a succulent. Then, he also bought boba tea from the flower ship. Four of them. Then, donuts. He drove back to Mar’s home. He left two in the fridge as he headed up to her room. He knocked and opened it. She’s currently by the window seat looking out at the garden. She turned her head at him. “Babe, I’m sorry.” He said and showed the boba tea. “This is a fruit tea with a popping boba as you like.” She smiled at him. “You don’t have to say sorry. It’s not your fault.” “Partially it’s mine. I failed t

Hannah was in the king's bed. She was cold. She wanted to be with him all night. But instead of sleeping, she took her laptop and started working on her novel. She works for four hours straight without taking any breaks. She put it down and lay down as she stared at their photo together. Reid seemed to love her and she felt `relieved by the way he looked at her. Surely, no one has ever looked at her with full of love and admiration. She had seen it once from Ian, but never did he love her. She put pillows around her, trying to fill the vast space around her. Reid would snuggle with her all night. Now, she felt so empty. Her mind races as she tries hard not to think that he’s falling for that beautiful blonde girl. She woke up from his warmth and as soon as she opened her eyes, she looked at the clock at the bedside table. Four in the morning. “RJ?” She called as Reid hummed. “Hannah,” He mumbled. “I have a condom on.” His scent made her wet. His fingers started massaging her

Hannah received a call from Reid’s mother telling him to answer his phone and so, she told him about it. He answered his phone and he heard about dinner with his family. She then thought of just ordering pizza for tonight since Reid would have to be at their family dinner. She planned for overtime but Reid called her. “Love, let’s go.” “Oh, I have to finish a few things. You can go. You can’t be late for the family dinner.” She smiled. “Hannah, we will be at that dinner together.” “Uhh,” She shook her head. “Hannah, let’s go.” She nodded and cleaned up the desk. She quickly followed him and didn't want him to be late for dinner. They hopped into the car and she sighed. “Reid, I don’t think that we should go together.” “Nonsense.” Reid patted her. “Mom has no other choice but to accept you.” She looked at Brett who was their driver. “I also fight with my mom, using the silent treatment. I know I hurt her but I was hard-headed. I realized as I grew that I hurt my mom in the w

Hannah’s threats were real. He went back to the dinner although she knew that she was probably anxious and his beasts were itching to take over and go to their mate. Although Hannah wasn’t his fated mate, he and his beast claimed her as their mate. He sat down as Ines was puzzled. “Where’s Hannah?” Ines asked but then Reid was silent as he raised his hand. “Bring me a whiskey on the rock.” He told the staff. “Reid, it’s too early for that,” Evelyn said as Reid stared at his mother right into her eyes. “Ella,” Reid called Ella without breaking an eye contact. “What would you like to do once you have recovered?” He asked. “Have you thought about it?” Ella nodded. “Thank you for letting me stay in a luxury unit.” “The most luxurious one is either in the penthouse or down the penthouse.” She said, “I set up the room just below the penthouse but the tenant doesn't want to leave.” Reid glared at her. “Mom,” Graham sighed. “Please, stop. You’ve been doing this for days now. Give th

Hannah thought that Reid would push her off if she said a single negative thing about his mother. However, he was very apologetic and it made her feel better. She hugged him further as somehow his scent changed. This scent of arousal and longing. It’s like he’s on a rut again. “Reid,” “I’m sorry, I just meant to comfort you.” “It’s okay,” she hugged him. “Let’s eat. How about your favorites?” She shook her head. “I just want to run away with you, Reid. I don’t feel well.” She mumbled. “I’m tired. I want to sleep.” “Right, let’s sleep together and we’ll wake up like we used to.” He kissed her forehead. She stared at his face for a long time. She wanted to see that. “Hannah,” Reid whispered. “Don’t give up on me, okay?”“Can you not see her again? Or be alone with her?”“Who?” “Ella?”“My love, Ella had her own choices. I might see her around but I promise not to be alone with her.” “Omegas had a scent like an aphrodisiac. I heard.” “Yes,” He shoved his face to her neck and g

For days, Hannah would work casually as she also started her freelancing. She would write novels at night and upload them on the platform. She also had sent out money to her family. She also had set up allowances for the cats just in case she was kicked out again. Her head was racing as she stopped typing and realized that there were mistakes. She continued all over again as she stood. “Reid, we are off for a meeting.” She said as Reid stood and approached her. “Wanna go and ditch work?” She chuckled and shook her head. “No.” He took out something from his pocket and handed her a chocolate bar, the one with a pistachio and matcha filling. Her eyes widened as he winked. She opened it and took a piece and handed it to him but he bent down and took it with his mouth. She chuckled as they ate the chocolate on their way out of the office. At that moment, Hannah hoped that they would always be happy like this. She hoped that Reid would always love her and she hoped that Mrs. King wou

Reid noticed that she was silent when it was them. He noticed that his usually jolly beloved mate would tell him what she thought momentarily. She was formal with everyone and whenever they wanted to go home, Hannah told him to go ahead, but he stayed. She was finishing up work a little and instead of going home by car, she would walk. He would follow her and hold her hand but she didn’t interlock her hand with him. It was loose. He knew that Hannah wasn’t confrontational but there was indeed something wrong. Did his mother say something to her again? It’s probably just hormones, but he knew it wasn’t. Now, he probably needs to tell her what happened a few nights ago. Upon reaching home, she headed to her cats and cleaned up their dishes. “What do you want for dinner?” He asked. “Hmm, I’ll probably just drink milk. I’m not that hungry after all of the pizza party.” She said. “You only ate a slice, my love. How did you get full with that?” He crossed his arms. She only chuckled as

She’s being casual that Hannah was driving and always multitasking. “Hannah, please… my dear Luna. Don’t kill us.” Reagan said as he told Hannah to stay on the lane. “Oh, sorry.” She swerved back to the lane and she drove carefully on the zigzag. “Why did you make a quick swerve?” Reid exclaimed. “We are all good.” Hannah said as they stopped by the gas station. “I’m driving.” Reagan finally decided. At the very back seat of the Sedan was Xander, sleeping peacefully and even snoring. They swapped seats as Reagan and Eloisa. Eloisa was about to put her feet on the dashboard but Reagan put her feet down. “That’s dangerous.” He glared at her as she pouted. Hannah and Reid were snuggled at the backseat. Mostly Reid was acting like a cat and snuggling to Hannah. Of course, their Luna tolerates that. They arrived at the residence safely. Eloisa put a ca

Seeing how much her beloved came with just her hands made her feel like a fucking God. She kissed his lips as he sighed and relaxed. She cleaned up as Hannah snuggled to his chest. He kissed her as he reached her down there. A knocked on the door interrupted them as Reid put his boxers on and robe. Hannah covered herself with the duvet as she listened at the door. “Hey, Reagan. It’s too early.” “I’m here to report.” Hannah sat up. “It seemed that you marked each other. I’ll meet you in the office. Maybe a hot chocolate?” Reid glanced at Hannah at the bed. “Maybe I can join the conversation?” Hannah asked. “I’m curious.” “Hot chocolate then. And also get Xander.” Reagan bowed his head as Reid closed the door. Then, he approached his beloved and climbed over the bed. He reached the condom. “Let’s make this quick.” She giggled and hugged her. She watched him slide the condom on his hard shaft as he quickly slid into her. She gasped as she threw the pillows and lay flat. She had

Xander takes Gracey to her bedroom that she shares with other omegas. He also gave her access to his bedroom. Where she can sleep there anytime she wants. He kissed her forehead good night and instead of resting, he headed down to the dungeon to see Eloisa squatting while eating a mango float and talking to someone. “Hannah made this. It’s very interesting, you know. It’s delicious.” Eloisa said. “I can give you a scoop if you want?” But the man in there wasn’t even moving and just gazing at nowhere. Xander squatted next to Eloisa. “Is he still alive?” Xander asked. “Yup. He hasn’t been eating well.” Eloisa pouted. “Oh, I see.” Xander sighed. “Well, too bad for her. We’ll have to keep him alive. We are feeding him well too, right?” “Yup.” Eloisa nodded. “Hey, Ivan.” Xander called. “Uh, you have to eat. Hannah will visit this dungeon soon.” Ivan turned his head as Xander laughed and Eloisa shook her head, realizing how sick Xander was. “I’m kidding, bro. But there are chances

Eloisa felt so insecure. Seeing Hannah healthy, and the way his mate treats her with care. Everyone loves her already. They probably saw her and looked at her weirdly. But Hannah treated her with kindness. She didn't know if it was real. But they love Hannah. She sometimes wished to be her. The dinner was over after Reagan told her to eat more. Then, she watched over Gracey who ate only little. Kiara even nagged her about it. Telling her that she shouldn’t worry over Xander. She must be really anxious. She heard from her that the time that Xander met her, his eyes looked very much furious upon seeing her. Not because she’s an omega but he’s bad about the marks on her ankles. Her heart clenched so much that Gracey would laugh it off. Xander was a gentleman although he’s somehow a little psycho. She just hoped that he wouldn’t do what those bastards did to Gracey. There were people in this little community who asked if Hannah was her twin. But she doesn't know at all. She grew up in

Fuck? No. Reagan would never do such a thing to her. She’s his mate. He would love her like he’s supposed to do. He turned to her and saw her wiping her tears. It breaks his heart that he didn’t clarify it. He pulled her wrist as she stepped closer to him. “Don’t get hurt over it,” Reagan said. “I would never fuck you. You are my mate. I would never do that to you.” She looked up at him, surprised as the elevator door opened. She sniffled as he put his arm over her. She hugged him surprisingly and shoved her face to his chest while the elevator went down. “Kiss me.” She insisted as he shook his head. She frowned at him and pushed him. “I’m busy, alright? I can’t kiss you and make love to you in the elevator.” He took her back to her room. “Try the dresses, I have to clean up some bastards.” He closed the cells with a glass as warm water showered on the people they kept. Since they don’t have a bed they just lie on a cold floor. Someone tried to kill himself by wrapping the cloth

He reached for the gun that he had placed under the table. He kept the chain on the door and opened it slightly. “Can I help you?” Sandro asked but the man was silent but his eyes were on him. Ella watched as he filled another room with a lot of her clothes. She also had her study room nearby and a mini library with a television. It was more like her own showroom. She doesn't know why he hired a personal shopper and bought her clothes with tags on them. It’s just a waste if she doesn’t get a chance to wear them. But she only wanted comfortable baggy clothes. His clothes were enough for her. “Alright,” Echo crossed his arms. “These colors are perfect for your hair and skin tone. That’s what they said and…” Ella hugged him suddenly from behind as Echo stopped. “Baby, in front of me, please.” But she didn’t let him go. Hannah watched as they took Xander to another building where they would conduct an operation. They had a surgeon among the townspeople. A female one who usually works in the lab. Pamela mumbled about cutting his arm which made Kiara laugh since she was only kidding but Natasha tried to stand from her wheelchair just to reach her son. Hannah quickly approached her and held her down. “We will wait for him, then maybe you’ll be able to stay by his side,” Hannah said. “They said that I had healing powers, maybe with that, I can help. So, don’t worry.” She then looked at the other omega. Gracey stared at the other building where they took Xander. She was tearing which probably shows that she’s Xander’s other half. They were still preparing for dinner when Pamela and the surgeon came out, telling them that Xander had a successful operation and he’ll heal soon. Natasha was relieved and Kiara and Danaya hugged her to comfort her. She looked around for Reid but he was nowhere to be found.

She hasn’t been sleeping well at all. The first one was with the man whom she barely knew. The man who was her other half. She finished off the burgers from the microwave since her mate seemed to be disgusted to eat with someone who had been used many times. She was sitting on the corner staring at nowhere when the door opened. Reagan approached her. “You’ll join us for dinner. Also, you need some sun.” “I’m fine.” She knew that Hannah was there. “Hannah asked me to take you up. Your sister has been looking for you.” She stared at him for as long as she pressed her lips. “Yeah, maybe I can go up.” She went to get her hairbrush and started brushing her hair. Then, she checked the clothes that he gave her. “Don’t you even have a dress here for me?” He didn’t answer for a while. She turned to him. He seemed to be watching her every move. “I’ll buy one for you when I go to the city.” She smiled but soon turned her head away from him, her smile faded immediately. She put her hand
