The rest of the day went by smoothly without Lucas getting in her way.

He was probably still in his Villa, tending to his eyes, or maybe he had flown back to Phoenix City. Heidi couldn't care less.

Sitting in front of the fire with some of the construction company's crew, Heidi's eyes strayed out of the resort, across the ocean, over to the lonely Villa that stood on a small Island.

“Ms. Olsen, may we please have your attention?” Said one of the guys.

Heidi looked away, giving them her attention. “Yes, please. I'm listening.”

The men exchanged glances before one of them passed out a document to her. “We have been discussing the expenses the construction materials will cover. We need your signature on these documents before we proceed with supplying the materials.”

“Ms. Olsen, by purchasing the materials from them directly, it will cost us less,” Isla explained, handing her the documents. “And we won't need to brainstorm on what materials to buy, they know the things they'll need an
