207. Not Trusting Her

Her head pounded hard, and her eyes felt like two heavy orbs inside their sockets.

Heidi fluttered her eyelids, reaching for her forehead and rubbing it gently to ease the pain.

A muffled groan escaped her lips, the ache inside her head expanding.

“Heidi…”

“Ms. Olsen.”

“...how do you feel now, Heidi?”

Two voices floated into her ears. The voice of a man and a woman.

Heidi didn't find the voices familiar at first until she fully regained her senses.

Her vision blurred by the dizziness, the silhouette of two men and a woman hovered above her.

“Thank goodness, she is awake.” A familiar yet strange voice sounded. “You can now put your mind at ease.”

“Doc, what's wrong with her? I thought she was alright.”

“Considering her condition, fainting is quite normal sometimes especially if she undergoes a lot of stress.”

Ah! Right!

Heidi fainted.

How could she forget that?

For a moment there, she'd almost been confused that she went to hell and came back, thinking back to those horrible nightmar
