Chapter 3

She's her Mother's Daughter **Get her pregnant**

     Seth's POV

"Get her pregnant!"He replied and I flinched.

"Are you kidding me?"

"I mean how on earth will you say such a thing? She's sixteen for fuçk sake, sixteen!" I half yelled.

"You know I've thought about this carefully before bringing the idea to you," he said calmly. "Okay, what are you gonna do then? Think about it.You can't just walk up to your dad and tell him you aren't gonna get married to Sharon in future cause you love someone else and you want to spend your life with her. You know he is gonna punish your mother for that," he reasoned.

"I know your dad very well, Seth. And you also know what he can do. Once he learns about Rose he'll take her out," he added.

"I know my dad is really cold hearted but how could you think of such things? I can't sacrifice Rose happiness for my own gain," I replied calming down.

"Then you'll have to marry Sharon once we are done here," he stated.

"You know why your father wants you to marry early right? Number one is to have grandkids and two is for the benefit he gets. Your father won't ever reject his blood even tho he is cold hearted. Well sorry to say," he suggested.

"No sorry. I know him well," I shook my head. "And I don't agree with your plan, Marcus, I disagreed.

"Well, do you have better one?" He asked and I nodded negatively.

"If...if..even if I was to agree, Rose will never agree to getting pregnant at sixteen," I reasoned.

"Well you don't have to tell her your plans. You two are dating right? Then just conceive her with another thing and make sure you do your job well. If you truly love her as you claim," he explained.

I stood up and sank my fingers into my hair in thought.

"She won't agree to that either. She's sixteen and I can't be talking about sex with her for fuçk sake Mar," I responded.

"Well, she's your girlfriend and you should know how to conceive her," he said.

I thought for a while again.

"No. I'm sorry but I can't do that to her and who knows if she'll get pregnant with one time sex," I reasoned.

"If she doesn't then you'll do it again until it happens," he pressed on.

"OK let's say that happens. What about her education? She's on scholarship, its not easy to get it back." I told and sat down back. 

"Simple. When she's over with the pregnancy thing, she continues with her education and she's really brilliant. Why act like that? You can always make her finish her school," he persisted.  

"No, I don't wanna imagine that , she'll go through pains."

"Things you do for love," he mouthed and stood up.

"Its late buddy. Let's go," he said making me stand with him.

No way I'm gonna do that to Rose. No way.

I got home, showered and had dinner.

I went up to my room and tried calling the cell phone I gave to Rose but as expected it was switched off. 

I groaned sadly and closed my eyes with the hope of seeing her tomorrow morning as usual.

Days later.

A knock came to my door waking me up.

"Who the fuçk hell is that? Today is Sunday for fuçk sake. Leave me alone!" I half yelled at the person knocking at the door.

"Baby, its me," I heard mom's voice. I lazily opened my eyes and then sat up.

"Come in, mom, door is open," I urged scratching my eyes.

The door opened and she smiled walking in.

She's a beautiful woman but is always controlled by my cold hearted dad. Wonder how and why she got married to him.

"What is it mom?" I asked staring at her.

"Not even a good morning?" She asked and I remembered am supposed to greet her.

"Oh sorry. Good morning the most beautiful woman in the whole world," I greeted and she smiled more broadly.

"Morning sweet devil. So we're having visitors in minutes get ready," she announced moving out.

"What visitors?" I asked, surprised at the news.

"Just get dress," she urged before leaving.

I am so angry.

Sharon and her family were the visitors.

My dad and her's talked and they agreed that I engage Sharon that instant.

I stood up and simply told them I won't try the shit.

My dad dragged me to a room and threatened me with mom. He told me he was gonna hurt her and he'll do it. He has always done it in the past to his own wife. 

I was angry, furious. Hatred was burning inside of me. I hate it that he is my father, a lot of people thinks I'm actually lucky but they don't know him.

With the threat, I reluctantly collected the fuçking ring and slid it into the bitchê's stupid finger, she was smiling and giggling like a goat she is. She must have probably told her parents to do this so she'll tell everyone at school.

I hate her so fuçking much! 

I ran to my room immediately I'd done that.

I can't believe this. Oh no, Rose! she's gonna learn of it tomorrow which is Monday.

I closed my eyes and started thinking of what to to avoid this nonsense without hurting mom.

I thought and thought but couldn't arrive at anything.

I'll have to talk to Mar tomorrow about these. I concluded.

Next day.

         Rose's P O V

I arrived really early at school on Monday.

I have missed Seth a lot. It's as if I haven't seen him in ages.

I arrived and the class was empty. I brought out my book to read and also to wait for him.

I opened the book to read but the class door opened and he walked in quietly.

"Hmm, look who is early," I teased and he grinned and sat at his usual position - at my front so we could face each other. 

He kissed me on the cheek and then held my hand in his.

He stared into my eyes as if thinking of what next to say.

"Is there any problem?" I asked and he nodded negatively.

"What could possibly be the problem? Your smiles drives all possible problems away you know," he teased and I busted out laughing. 

I stopped laughing after a while and faced him.

"No seriously, tell me the reason you seems bothered," I insisted.

"Well because I've missed you, I can't believe I didn't see you for two straight days," he pouted and I ended up laughing again.

I held his cheeks playfully and he laughed too. 

We talked about other irrelevant and relevant things until the school fully resumed.

Teaching started after a while and soon it was lunch period.

I stood up wanting to grab something at the canteen but her voice stopped everyone wanting to go out - Sharon.

"Hold on everyone. Before you go out for lunch I wanna make an important announcement that will shake you up," she half yelled.

"Ok ok I wanna show you all this ring," she started and raised her fingers up so everyone could see.

 I could tell it was diamond and it looked so so beautiful.

I wonder where she got that from. 

"Wow! It's beautiful! A lot of students complimented.

"Well guess who gave this ring to me? It's Seth of cause." She giggled and started dancing.

She danced for a while and stopped, I became happy that she stopped.

I really wanted her to repeat what she said and probably explain.

"Um.. he gave it to me yesterday as an engagement gift. Meaning he engaged me yesterday!" She yelled and everyone gasped out in disbelief but later started clapping.

What the hell? I'm really shocked.

What shitty engagement?

I looked over at Seth sit but didn't find him there. Even Marcus wasn't seated.

How and when did they come this far? I thought as I walked through the hallway in hope of seeing either of them but didn't.

Lunch period was over and everyone came back to class apart from them.  

I waited endlessly but they didn't show up till closing hours.  

I walked home sadly with curiosity eating up my system.

I hope to see them again when am delivering melon.

I got home and did the usual and without wasting of time I took the Melon and hit the road. 

I got to the field but didn't see either of them. I exhaled bitterly and was about going before I heard my name.

I turned and saw Seth alongside Marcus. I quickly ran to them and pulled Seth into a hug. 

I was really worried.

"Don't ever leave school without letting me know okay?" I scolded and he nodded like an obedient student.

"So what happened?" I inquired.

"Nothing just felt stomach ache and went home to take drugs. Sorry for not letting you know," he apologized. I nodded then remembered Sharon's announcement. 

"Can I ask you guys something?" I asked and they both looked at each other before turning back to look at me.

"Of...of course," Seth replied.

"Are you gonna get married to Sharon after schooling? Tell me the truth, don't lie cause she announced it in class with the supposed ring you gave her," I said, he stared at me with a sad expression.

His eyes were filled with sadness and pity and I instantly knew it was true. 

I bit my lower lips and looked down trying hard to hold the tears that was threatening to fall off.

"Is it?" I asked again soberly.

"Yes...I'm sorry but I have found a solution," he replied and I raised my eyes to look at him.

"I've figured out a way to marry you instead of her," he stated and I dried my tears instantly.

"What way?" I asked curiously.

      Seth's P O V

I couldn't stay in class to listen to what she has to say - Sharon of cause so I left. I knew Rose was gonna get curious so I went home with Mar in order to avoid her question until I've gotten a possible solution. 

And the solution?

I don't know what else to do than to go with Marcus plan.

If my dad wants it in a hard way then I'm ready to follow up.

Tho I know it'll hurt Rose a lot but I've gat to do this, I can't imagine being without her. 

I'll have to get her pregnant.
