The Harvest Moon rose high above the Blue Mountain Pack’s grounds, casting a silver glow over the celebration preparations. The air buzzed with excitement as wolves gathered to honor the long-standing tradition - an annual event where the pack celebrated its unity, strength, and connection to the land.

Zoe stood by her window, watching the distant lanterns being hung between the trees, their warm light flickering in the growing dusk. The celebration was always a grand affair. Pack members from other territories were invited, and the night was filled with food, dancing, and games. It was meant to celebrate their bond, to remind everyone that they were stronger together.

But this year felt different.

Zoe had noticed the tension in the air. There were more whispers behind closed doors, and Alpha Philip’s presence loomed larger than ever. She couldn’t shake Dominic’s words from the night before, nor the uneasy feeling that something was shifting within the pack.
