Chapter 28 - Vendettas and Vittles

**Days Later**

Laying in bed, I could swear I was fast asleep but sounds of muffled talking kept drifting in and out of my hearing. Slightly cracking my eyes open, I noticed it was already morning as I could see the rays of light seeping through the curtains.
