The Unveiling: Synthara's Debut at Stone Enterprise

Neon lights in the city shone even in day time. The man at the rear of the automobile gave orders to his driver on a thing to accomplish after his droppings at the office.

"Yes, boss," Nicholas said out loud. "I have a date with Amelia this evening, I should be done with all of these, before that time."

"Yes, thank you," Alexander greeted. He was on his way to the office as it was a new week on a Monday morning.

There was a lot to be done in his Enterprise after the hosted occasion at one of the top-rated five-star hotels in the state.

The driver quelled at the portico of a significant building. He waited for some time before a man in uniform stretched out the gate, the man bowed at the sight of the man in the backseat of the automobile. And Alexander, on the other hand, waved at him while they drove in.

The building was a big one, apparently one of the heftiest in the whole of New York.

Alexander hopped down when the man on the wheel packed at the lot, smiling. "Good morning, boss," a staff member who passed by greeted, also smiling.

"Good morning," he waved at the small woman. "How do you do?" He asked, but she was gone from his scenery and into the interiors of the Enterprise.

At the front of the main door was boldly inscribed 'Stone Enterprise'. Alexander gave a nod, he had requested the aged banner be removed and a unique one added in substitute and that had just been done.

His secretary, Jessica knew the right thing, anytime and anywhere.

"We have an update," the woman he thought of walked into the scene. "Good morning, boss. May I have your suitcase?"

"Jessica," he lauded, reflections of what it could be, cramming his head. "How are you this morning?"

"Very well," she jerked the suitcase off her boss's hand and they rolled past the reception, towards the escalator. "Come with me, I have a piece to show to you."

"Tell me you're done with the task I asked you to handle around this time last week." He scoffed, checking on his wrist for the time.

"Boss," Jessica cried. They wandered into the escalator and the man of the moment used the buttons. "Relax and wait until we arrive at the room."

Room? He knew it!

Excitement gurgled inside of Alexander at the thought of a new AI creation, created. How can he stop working with Jessica? She was his backbone in the Enterprise, even with the role of a secretary.

She was a help sent from heaven to him.

Wife material, per.

"Close, boss," Jessica looked at the timer and faced the man. "How ready are you?"

"I was born ready." He said.

And the escalator made a sound, announcing their arrival on the sixth floor. "Let's go!" Jessica said, walking out of the door. She scurried past a staff member as she, on her part, was excessively enthusiastic and ready to show the piece to her boss.

They arrived at the room.

Jessica helped with the key to the door.

"Ta-da!" She laughed and walked in before Alexander.

"Where is it?" Alexander asked. He shut the entrance behind him when they were inside and beheld the statue.

"What you are staring at, boss." Jessica laughed. "How do you like it?"

"Come on, Jessica." Alexander shrieked, walking nigher. He put off the piece covering the created technology's body and veered around to gaze at his staff. "No, this is beautiful."

"Hello," Jessica said, walking closer to the body, with a remote control in her hand. "I am Jessica, your creator."

"Hi, Jessica," the body said, her mouth moving. "I recognize your voice and face from the last time. How do you do?"

"I am well," Jessica replied. "I have brought with me the boss, he came to see how you are faring."

"I see," the creature replied. "Hi, boss, I am Synthara. It is nice to meet you."

Flabbergasted, Alexander moped. "This is the most beautiful piece we ever come up with, Jessica."

"Oh, why can't I move?" Synthara asked.

"Turn it off," the man in the room ordered. A sound came from the remote and Synthara went mute, staying in one position again.

"She has not been completely programmed," Jessica said. "I am yet to put her out for sale, too. Not until I am done with the programming."

"What more is left?"

"Core voice recognition, her second and third brain," the lady answered. "Maybe a fourth brain, and complete body parts movement."

Alexander gave a nod and walked over the room to a corner with a programmer and computer. He took his seat on one of the computers and turned to see Jessica who was all smiles. "I was choked with my speech and services at the occasion the other day."

"And then you were exhausted."

"Yes, I was," he said. "Then I decided to take the rest of the week off."

"You needed to rest," Jessica said. "It was important and I understand. Plus you allowed me to create this masterpiece." Her hand was pointed at Synthara.

"Yes, yes," the man said. "I don't seem to like her hair colour, though." He said again. "I want it dark, not blonde."

"I'd fix that."

"She looks human."

"That is why this is New York," Jessica scoffed, reaching the door. She opened and a staff member walked in. "We create anything beautiful. Beautiful is the word."

"Yes, we do." Alexander agreed, seeing the man who walked in. "Have you seen this piece, Mark?" He asked the man. "Jessica should be employed as a staff, not a secretary. Not anymore."

"No, I love my role, I can do both at the same time," she argued.

"She loves taking your suitcase," Mark chipped in. "...and searching for chocolate in it."

"I don't do that."

"Yes, you do."

The CEO let out a sigh, shut down the computer and walked to the door. "I've got tons of files to attend to, in my office. Guys."

"Jessica might want to help." Mark teased.

"She's done enough already," the CEO laughed, then turned to look at the lady. "Thank you." He greeted, opening the door and walking out of the room.
