Twenty One: LISA

I feel like I am in a weird dark unconscious dream. A nightmare with devious cobwebs and dirty walls and an arid smell that just twists my stomach into painful knots. My eyes feel like they are open, but also feel shut at the same time.

The grizzling sensation of something crawling over my leg has me opening my eyes and trying to adjust my tools of vision to see what is happening to my leg. It takes a while before my blurry vision clears, and when it does, I scream at the sight of the huge rat on my leg scratching my skin with its claws. The tremors the scratching sends down my spine nearly paralyses me with fear, yet at the same time, shooting up the adrenaline in my body so high that I fling my leg in the air, watching the black animal fly over to the far end of the dark room. I hear it give out a low squeak as it lands on the floor with a low thud. For a moment, I begin to think that it is dead, but then I watch it move on the floor and within seconds, the animal disappears through
