Chapter 25 Sudden Surprise

To Laura, this was a sudden surprise.

"Okay, they can observe. Thank you, doctor."

The attending doctor breathed a sigh of relief as well and a smile appeared on his face. He looked at Laura and said, "Miss Walker, you should go prepare the operation fees so we can proceed with the operation as soon as possible."

"Okay." Laura quickly nodded. She then walked towards Nicholas, who had been quiet all this time.

"Dad, where's the 5,000 dollars I transferred to you yesterday? Let's use it to pay for the operation fees."

Laura looked at Nicholas straight in the eyes.

Shona began feeling unhappy. She had just received the money and had to spend it on an old lady for her treatment.

"Okay, I'll go make the payment now." Nicholas finally nodded.

"You..." Shona wanted to say something, but Nicholas had already turned around. She quickly picked up her bag and chased after him.

Seeing their receding figures, Laura wanted to find Dr. Shaw, but realized that he had already led his team into
