Chapter 28 What Are You Thinking

Laura didn't respond. Instead, she turned and looked at Chris. She needed to ask for his opinion.

"I'm free all day. We can go if you want to," said Chris.

Laura nodded.

Linda was transferred to the ward. She had just gone through an operation and was very weak. Laura didn't stay for too long. She left quite early so that Linda could rest.

Nicholas and Shona took a taxi to the hospital, but Laura and Chris drove to the hospital.

Since they were going to the Walker family's house, Nicholas sat in the back seat.

He looked around at the accessories in the car. After seeing that the car was just a normal car, he retracted his gaze. He didn't say anything all the way home.

After arriving at the Walker family's house, Laura and Chris followed Nicholas up the stairs.

As soon as the door was opened, the three of them could hear Shona laughing.

"Jessica, I'm not sure if the dishes I've cooked match your taste. You can tell me what you want to eat."
