Chapter twenty-eight

The night seemed to stretch for hours as I could feel the early morning sun hit my face.

I groaned in annoyance and turned before rolling out of the dilapidated foam that I am using as a bed.

My whole body aches and hurts maybe because of how I lay last night.

"Hmmm…." I sat upright and stretched myself with my hands spread sideways.

Through the small opening in the room that I do use as a window, I could see the sunlight and how brightly it is shining on the sky showing that it is morning.

The sky is as clear as a day.

The chirping of little birds in their nests could be heard, I closed my eyes and breathed in the fresh air.

I remembered how my parents always forced me to wake up, a sad smile curled my lips at the memory.

"Another day to my miserable life," I sighed and pulled my eyes open.

Forcing myself out of my bed, I slowly stood on my feet and moved to the bathroom.

I did my morning business there and dressed up for another day of torture and torment.
